I shop at the Heron Rd. and Bank St. store often. Staff are helpful and will go to the warehouse area to retrieve goods when they run out on the shelf. I have not had any problems with returns. read more

Not a good experience. Customer for 40 years.bought a battery last month and took it in today to get a refund because my mechanic said it's not needed, reason why I bought the battery is because I got oil change and the place does an inspection and said my battery is low But things have changed. My battery is good so I try to take it back with within a month and they said no! there's no return on batteries written in the fine print on my receipt, why couldn't somebody tell me that when I bought it? I have a triangle credit card and have Roadside Assistance with Canadian Tire and after today I got mixed feelings because it's unfair and unjust! read more

I bought tools here and the tools were broken I returned them half hour later just to be told they will exchange them but not refund then never again am I buying tools from them cause they will scam you for your money not happy about this nor am I gonna recommend to anyone to buy tools from this location even the manager was ignorant with me and nothing was done about their piss poor attitude unbelievable read more

This store has a good location and parking. That is where the good stuff ends. Like many retailors they under order and do not have what you need. This store takes that to extreme. I went tonight for three things: steel wool, paint thinner and paper towels. Not exactly obscure stuff. Paint thinner has multiple brands. Sold out of all except for an expensive 4-litre. Paper towels: sold out of all but a large over-priced package at 19.99. Steel wool: sold out of all of them. every brand, every grade. Nada. Staff did not know where the products were supposed to be. Manager was extremely unhelpful. I pointed out that it was not just 0 for 3 on what I wanted but there were rows and rows of other things empty. Many other staples - things stores normally should never run out of, just not there. A cashier was very pleasant and offered that they get stock on Thursdays and this is Wednesday. The manager could not provide that information. Clearly this is a store who believes in just-in-time-delivery except if your store is half empty because you never order enough stock it is not just in time. Franchise perhaps? Definitely a location to avoid. read more

Woah! Just got my car inspected after it just got inspected across the street and they failed it after the dealer and another mechanic found no problem! They want to charge me 500 and more! It's really my bad because they were like " well it's not because they didn't find something that we won't ". Stupid me left it there because I needed the certificate now. It is a total rip-off. I can't believe what they just did, minuted after it passed I inspection somewhere else (the reason I didn't get my certificate across the street is that they ran out of the certificate and couldn't wait). Outrageous. Do not go there for your safety because they might charge you more for unnecessary repairs like they tried to do to me. You have been warned. read more

No rating deserved, liars and thieves at Bank and Heron. Today, I took my car into Canadian Tire Auto Service to have brakes inspected, no problems with brakes, bought the older car a few years ago, just wasn't sure when they had been done last. Was given an estimate for $2400 before taxes for brake work, rotors, shoes, pads, cylinders, new brake line, said they would only do it all or nothing. I did not have any work done, decided to take the car elsewhere for a 2nd inspection and estimate. When Canadian Tire returned the car to me I had next to no brakes and there was a red light on the dash indicating a problem with the brakes. I went back in, told them that there was a serious problem with the brakes and it happened at Canadian Tire, car rolling when brakes applied, didn't happen before. I was told the brake line was leaking, told them I did not have a leaking line before I brought the car to Canadian Tire. My response was there is no brake fluid in my driveway. Then I was told that I had to be driving the car for it to leak, my response was well I need to drive into and out of my parking and there is no brake fluid there, at Canadian Tire where I initially parked the car there is no brake fluid. Upset I drove to another service centre, they inspected the car for the Canadian Tire repairs and estimates. It was determined that someone had punctured the brake line causing fluid to drain, they had to replace the damaged brake line, and clean up the mess, most of the work not even needed. This place has a very bad reputation online. read more

Dropped car off for new snow tires 4.5 hours - no phone call - and no tires! They claimed my dealership has to change the tires.. didn't do much research .. or to call me to tell me they wouldn't or couldn't work on it. Terrible customer service. read more

Very helpful staff that's happy to help out, not too long lineups, and parking spots close to store. This location is my favorite when I need to be in and out, and don't want to wander around a humongous store and parking lot. read more

This is regarding Canadian Tire store located at Heron Road and Bank Street. March 21st I purchased a shed, cost me $749.00. When we opened the boxes we found dents in it and cracks. At this point the boxes were tossed in the recycable box, tore up and bent to make them fit. I purchased it from Leitrim Road/ Findlay Creek store as they were the only ones that had this particular shed on sale. I spoke to the manager at Leitrim and he said bring it back box or no box didn't matter. They would refund my money or exchange it whatever I wanted. When Leitrim Manager looked up more sheds he found there was not many on sale and he didn't have any, but he said any C.Tire store would take this broken shed back. We went to Bank St and Heron Road location as they are the closest one to me ...The Manager there was rude, of no help to me, said it needed the box. I explained the story to him and he said no box no refund. He had a big attitude. Today I called back to Leitrim, spoke to the Manager I've been dealing with who has been with me all the way on this problem and phoned me to see how I made out and I told him...He said Heron Road should have taken this back with no problem and quiet upset about it. He told me bring it to him which we did, he took it all of the truck, refunded me my money, shook hands and I thanked him for all he did. I have nothing good or positive to say about the Manager that was on duty May 5th at Heron Road. Went out this morning found a shed we liked and purchased it from another store, so C.Tire is out almost $1,000.00 all because you have an ignorant store manager....Hats off to Leitrim C.Tire they were amazing!!!!!! read more

Canadian Tire Auto Service could be better. I bought Goodyear WInter tires. But they wanted to charge $100 to pump air and remove from rim and to change them to Summer and $100 to change to Winter. I once brought my car to this place and the mechanic sold me a new battery which is the worse quality because it keeps on dying on me. I found out my previous battery was still new and I should have kept it. read more
