Well remember you are dealing with employees, they have bad days too. If it was the owner well that would be different. Also remember the Word before tire guys! Yup "Canadian" and we should support these stores as if they were to close we would have little left! The internet is taking jobs and our Canadian stores away, Remember internet is killing jobs here, just look at the malls, etc. Support Canada and our Private owners franchise stores ! Please! No not a employee or owner. Just a proud Canadian! read more

I went to the garden center at this location to buy some plants in early spring. As I was looking through plants, a stock lady entered my personal space as if to say "move out of here, I'm working", instead of asking, may I help you. She did not say a word, only glared at me in an angry way as she placed the plants onto the shelve(s, two ft away from where I was standing. I had not finished so I left, but I did not buy anything because of the stock lady. I then went to the Barrie Walmart where the selection was better and the prices were on average two dollars less for same items. Another time, I asked for an item and the person told me they were out of it and that they would order more. They took my phone no and said they would call me when the item was in stock. Never heard from them again, either way. Immediately after I was in that store (Innisfil location), I went to the Dollar Store across the way. The item was there and was two dollars. I got it there and will never ask CT again for same item. The best thing to do is go to another location with better reviews. read more

WORST MECHANICS EVER! I needed an oil change but my close friend who works at Honda was busy. I had no choice but to go to Canadian Tire. a week passed by and I started to hear noises in my car so I brought it to my friend. He checked the oil and turns out they only added 1L of oil to my car. I would of thought they would of known what they are doing because they are after all a big and well known corporation. DON'T TRUST THEIR MECHANICS! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAR SO YOU CAN COME BACK TO THEM! read more

If you must shop at Canadian Tire, I would recommend avoiding this location. Their much more stringent on their return or exchange policies, and the customer service counter has poor, unfriendly service. Thumbs way down on this place! read more

I will start by saying that the store itself is fine, the inventory is pretty much the same as is across all Canadian Tire stores. I have taken two stars away specifically because of the auto parts department, now I am not sure if it's because they don't have enough staff at the front there or they just simply don't hire people who actually know much about cars but they are quite reluctant to help you unless you seriously insist and have the patience to wait until they decide to help you. They never seem to have many things in stock and when they do, the parts are way over priced. Another reason that I wouldn't suggest the auto parts department is because it is almost impossible to reach them by phone and if you do, they don't help you. To be clear this is what happened today. I called the department for a specific item and the gentleman over the phone said " the system shows we have them but he has to do a physical check which he won't do because he has customers waiting in line at the store". So basically I am not a customer? Anyways for that reason I of course I will take my business somewhere where people are not too busy to let me know if they really do have the parts I need so that I don't waste my time going to the store to pick them up. read more

Took my SUV in for a oil change. Several days later a mechanic looking at a different issue asked if I had had a oil change recently. He said they spilled oil all over the rocker cover and potential leakage into the coils could cause the engine to misfire. He suggested that someone poured the oil without a funnel. I called the Can Tire service dept and they said to bring it in and they would clean it up. End result, not cleaned to my satisfaction and according to my mechanic, not to what he would consider his responsibility if he had spilled the oil. Will not be using this Canadian Tire service centre in the future. read more

I had an issue -seized caliper passenger side. Ordered caliper and changed it. Bleeding brakes had an impression that air still in the system. Made a stupid decision to bring vehicle to local Canadian Tire automotive service.Make a long story short-here is a final bill: 1.Brake inspection $39.99 2.Brakes miscellaneous(bleed brakes, diagnose hydraulic circuit ) $345.00 3.Brakes miscellaneous-adjust rear brakes $ 57.50 4.Brake fluid DOT3 $ 12.99 5.Replace master cylinder $ 230.00 6.Master cylinder $129.99 Parts: $142.98 Labour $ 672.49 Subtotal $815.47 GST/PST: $106.01 Total : $ 921.01 Please note - labour rate is $ 115.00 per hour. The last drop was greasy/dirty carpet inside the vehicle. The service look absolutely unprofessional- overpriced and why I should pay for rear drum brake having self adjusters? By the way It took 2 days to fix this brakes issue. I'd like to inform people do not step into my shoes. That is my last repair with CT Auto service. read more

I brought my car to the Canadian Tire on Innisfil Beach Road because my AC was taking longer than normal to get cold and once it got cold, the air wasn't as cold as last year. They inspected it and told me there was no leak, but the evaporator cord needed to be changed. They estimated $818 to fix the issue. I told them that I would think about it because that was a lot of money. I decided to get a 2nd opinion with a mechanic in North York. He inspected the AC and said there was NOTHING wrong with the evaporator cord. He said since the car was 6 years old, it's normal that the AC takes a bit longer to get cold. He also confirmed there was no leak and he tested the pressure and the level of freon was fine. He did all this at no charge! I DO NOT recommend the Canadian Tire on Innisfil Beach Road. They wanted to rob me of over $800 and replace the evaporator cord when it didn't need to be replaced! I wouldn't give 1 star, I give zero star! read more
