Of their 10 clinics in Ottawa, only two are open for x-rays today. Both are in the extreme east and extreme west end of the city. I live in the south side of the city either of them is a 35 minute drive. The wait time at either will be two hours. When you arrive, they will tell you if they are at capacity or not. If they are a capacity, they will turn you away, thus wasting a one hour and 10 minute round-trip. I accordingly went to Merivale Imaging and received good services. read more

Their Call Centre has no flexibility and stick to a script so unusual or urgent requests cannot be accommodated. I've just spent an hour and a half with two different people at the call centre and still been unable to get results. Apparently, there is no manager I can speak to and if I want to speak directly with someone, I must go to the location of the service. I've been there before and found them helpful, but this is a nightmare scenario for anyone seeking any information outside of what's in the script at the call centre. Very bad indeed. read more

I had an ultra-sound test, and the technician was very friendly, and her instruction was clear, thus, the whole process was done quickly.

DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC! The X Ray techician took the wrong angles of my hand. I raised my concern at the time and he told me that he "knows how to do his job." OK fine, I thought, maybe it is an advanced imaging machine and the X ray is being taken from multiple angles. Nope - after a few days the images were online and you could not see the part that was supposed to be imaged. Funny enough, you can't see through bone! Which is just what I said to the technician. I tried to call the clinic to arrange to have them re-do the X ray properly, but that is not possible - you have to call a main call centre. After waiting on hold 20 minutes, I was told I would get a call back. No one called. A week later, I called a second time and was on hold for 20 min then got cut off. I called back and after waiting another 25 minutes was told that the report had been sent off to my doctor but I had to wait 15 days to see it. I knew what it would say. I called my doctor and yes indeed, I need to go and get another X Ray - hopefully this time somewhere they know how to read a requisition and take patient comments seriously. This set back my recovery by 4 weeks or more, because a sports medicine doc needs the image to inject steroids. Now I need another X Ray, have to wait for those reaults, have to wait to see the sports doc etc etc. read more

I have been to this facility a couple of times before, and still remain very impressed with it. This is where local area doctors can send their west end (ie: Kanata + Stittsville) patients for various xrays. The entrance I went in turns out to be through the back, which is very unassuming - I had no idea the place would be so big, based on this entrance! It's spacious, clean and bright inside. The walls are decorated with signs and art works. The staff is friendly and efficient. The only odd thing (to me, at least), is their hours: 7:45 to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. They're also open Saturday mornings from about 9:00am to 2:00pm, so you'll need to work your way around these times. I was lucky this time: nobody else in line. Easy in and out, read more

Awful. Don't recommend this place for obstetrics ultrasound. No other words, first and the last time I am visiting this horrible place. Beginning with reception, ending doctors. This is first time I'm treated in such a rude way by doctors. Or may be she was a nurse with two years of education. Unfortunately I wasn't able to remember her name (she was of Asian appearance). The gel for ultrasound was cold, she was pushing hard, however she wasn't able to find out certain details. The bench was absolutely sturdy and they don't even have some pillows for those pregnant backs. They don't have second monitor for the parent to watch all the manipulations. She didn't say the gender, not she said the overall situation with the baby. Such a waste of time. read more

CDN must be the worst managed outfit of its kind in Ottawa. My family doctor provided me 613 749-1652 as the number of the location on Katimavik Road and instructed me to call them to set up an appointment for a mammogram. I called at least 8 times. No human ever answers. I left very clear messages to be called back, but no one ever called. I ended up having to drive there just to fix the appointment; then I had to drive back again on the day of the appointment. 40 minutes round trip, wasted. read more

No way of calling specific imaging location, all service is online through a booking system. Made online booking and never received any contact in response. Physically went to Barrhaven Imaging. Terrible service, illogical and inefficient system of patient management, and little regard for clients. Wait times are ridiculous. Informed we can get our X-ray images online the next day. Recorded the website address, only to find the next day we are required to go back to the clinic in person to obtain a code to access online. We were not told this at the clinic. To physically go in to a busy clinic for online access to our own medical information is absurd. Canadian Diagnostic Network's entire system of booking, and its culture of client management need a complete overhaul if this business is to survive. read more

I wouldn't even give 1 star but needed to in order to write this review. WORST call back service ever!!! I had a heart halter mounted November 12th, 2019 at the Katamavik location. Upon arrival they told me I was in the wrong place. Finally the front desk clerk discovered they do offer this service and the technician fitted the device. I had the heart halter for 2 days, returned it to the same location only to be told once again I was in the wrong place. I have called 6 times now since the beginning of January, left detailed messages twice, other attempts to call were met with a message that the machine was full and could not receive messages. NO CALL BACKS were ever received, even though their recorded message says they will return the call within 48 hours. Finally, on January 15, 2020 I reached a real person, after cycling through the message system 6 times. She was from the Orleans location, couldn't find any information but said it was because she didn't have access to the Kanata site. She promised to investigate. Nothing to-date 22/1/20. My doctor's office also faxed Canadian Diagnostic Network January 13, 2020 requesting the Cardiologist report. STILL no information forthcoming. SHAMEFUL service. If you've lost the results just admit it then at least my doctor and I can explore other options. A follow-up call would be appreciated but I'm not hopeful! read more

After two separate visits for imaging services at two different places (Montréal road and Riverside), both places lack of staffs and the wait is very long. The professional staff are not up to par. At both places the health professionals lack of ethics and manner with the patient. In the future I will find a places for imaging services. read more

I had a terrible experience with their booking system. I have yet to see how the actual service is performed, but I am not looking forward to it. My doctor sent them an urgent request for an ultrasound on Aug 12 and they only got back to me two weeks later, on Aug 24th. Left a message to call them back. I did - many many times. I left a couple of messages - no call back yet! I ended up going to one of their locations in person to book the appointment for Sept 20th. 2 weeks to be seen for an ultrasound which is typically done within 2-3 days at other companies! read more
