Excellent breakfast - we had egg sandwiches, tortilla de queso, fresh orange juice etc. and enjoyed it very much.

The best Restaurant in Cordoba, best Spanish authentic food and it's very cheap. Good beers & best wines in list.

Fabulous breakfast!!!…read more This was the most delightful breakfast that we've had since in Spain. The restaurant was small and cozy, with seating inside and outside on the sidewalk. The owner really wanted everything to be perfect and appealing- from the music to the taste to the visual. Very eclectic decor and music playlist, but very warm. The owner does speak English and the menu has English and french(?- I forget, but think so). You can get coffee and tea, but, as opposed to other breakfast places where it's only bread with toppings or muffins, Él Arbolito has fresh fruit salad, bowl of fiber cereal mixed topped with yogurt and fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices, a homemade cake, or even a sandwich. I got the cereal with the fresh fruit- the fruit was so sweet, that it didn't need any other sweeteners. It came with fresh juice- which he made me grapefruit- orange-strawberry and coffee or tea. It was a large, filling breakfast. My husband got a vegetarian sandwich with coffee, and for everything it was 10.20 €. The food was delicious. If we were to be here longer, I would be going here daily for breakfast. A wonderful find. I highly recommend it!

I've always been a huge fan of fresh juice... but theirs was way better... most likely due to their combination of fruits. We had the one with apple, pineapple and lime. Refreshing! To date, I still think about that glass of juice! Please note that there were no English menu and the servers do not speak much English. This is a sign that they cater to locals and not a tourist trap! We had to use google camera to translate the menu while we were there. However, the translation didn't work properly so we didn't understand most of what was on the menu. LOL. 1) We had the duck pate dish. Note that this is popular dish in Spain: duck pate, marmalade sauce and bread. This was our 2nd or 3rd time having this dish and we loved it each time! 2) Sardine pate - it came with lettuce, capers and bread. While my husband liked it, I swear I will not have sardines anymore in my life. (The other time I almost puked was when I tried sardine sashimi in Japan.) The fishy taste was just way too strong for me. I ended up just devouring the duck pate dish and sipped juice and latte. It was such a simple meal but I really enjoyed the experience! We had also just gotten to Cordoba after a long ride. We used this opportunity to chillax and figure out what to do in Cordoba.

With a whimsical, minimalistic interior and relatively quiet ambiance, this café is a place to come by when you want to study, meet and talk with companions, and even maybe do a language exchange trivia night once every week. The coffees and teas are nothing particularly special, but I do like their torta de frambuesa y chocolate. It's dense and has more of a cheesecake-texture than anything, and it's a great deal for 2 people to share for 3 EU total. You can also find your typical array of Spanish beverages here, including cervezas and tinto de verano. If you're looking for a combo, there are options where you can get a tostada (toasted bread with toppings) and beverage for anywhere from 2-3 EU, more or less. From memory, an orange juice & tostada con jamón is around 3,15 EU. Admittedly while not the absolute best of deals you can typically find in Córdoba, it's doable. While studying in cafés seems to be more of an American thing, nevertheless I'll say that studying here can be quiet pleasant, although not highly recommended after the sun sets. Lights inside are dim and unless you're working on your ordenador/laptop, it'll pose a problem. So while it's not the ideal place to idly sit and read or study with some simple beverages and array of snacks, come on over because it's lovely.

Amazing selection of tea- try the galleta de San Nicolás!, good coffee. They heat the muffins too, which works great on a chocolate muffin. Trying to get milk for tea of another coffee is difficult- follow up service isn't great. We went at 11:20 am and were not able to order from the lunch menu, which had many more options. Delightful local cafe. Would definitely recommend.
