THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOST RUDE OFFENSIVE SERVICE I've ever experienced in my life. I was turned away three separate occasions by Randy and Brie who both wrongfully rejected packages that were perfectly packed claiming they weren't. I took my packages to another location and the staff there had no issue with any of my packages. I feel discriminated against and was publicly embarrassed by these two staff members more than once. This has been reported to the Canada Post head office. This is completely unacceptable treatment towards a customer. Horrendous. read more

The Asian girl didn't see me in line and served a person in front of me. I was helped next, and asked why she would do that if I was clearly next. She asked me to repeatedly myself, with inappropriate defensiveness. She kept talking and I asked her to "stop the attitude"; it's not appropriate. She said, "I don't have attitude and now I'm not serving you." So I go to the colleague who defended her coworker, continuing the attitude. I said it wasn't appropriate customer service, yet she just kept talking (with tone) to the point where I asked, "Why are you still talking? Just ring in my shipment." I'll never go back there again, even if it's an inconvenience to go elsewhere. read more

Really want to raise some awareness to the customer service management of this place. I was there 5 minutes prior to the closing time, which I know is a bit strict on timing. The mid age female employee (really hope she has some conscience in her heart, that she was Extremely rude and Extremely impatient to me and continuously blaming me for coming in 4 minutes before closing?? BUT I did nothing wrong. She interrupted me several times and slapped my ID on the desk to show me HER anger?? The worst part was while I was trying to look up some information on my phone asap, she turned back on me and said to her coworker loud and clear "THIS PERSON CAME IN NOW? WITHOUT TRACKING NUMBER AND WANT TO TRACK..." 1: My delivery was delivered to the wrong place and she did not even have the courtesy to let me explain. 2: She did NOTHING but blaming me for came in "LATE"?? 3: She spoke my "BAD" in my face to her coworker. What kind of person does that to a customer? 4. She made me nervous and made me feel like it was my fault but all I want was some information!? I really hope she would have some proper training, or at least some courtesy to be nice to the customer??? read more

I will walk 10-15 minutes out of my way to go to a different Canada Post location. Coming to this one always is only marginally less depressing than waiting for a root canal. OK, I'm being a little bit melodramatic. Literally every time I have tried to go to this post office (like today) I gasp when I see how many people are in line. I thought 3 PM on a weekday would avoid the after work rush...nope, 22 people in line. There were 2 clerks working when I arrived and then with the line even longer than it started one of them decided to go on break. Now with one clerk, inevitably there will be a problem...someone is trying to send a fragile, valuable piece of glass to Timbuktu express and hasn't filled out an insurance form or an express form or even bothered to tape their box shut. The sole clerk then gets to spend 10 minutes on just one customer. Can you feel my exasperation through this review? And it's not just like this occasionally, this location is always understaffed and has a crazy line. I used to think the USPS was awful until I saw this. The one redeeming quality...the staff are *usually* rather polite once you finally get service. Seriously, walk to the other locations...in the HBC building, at Yonge & Dundas, Yonge & Bloor, etc. It's not worth the wait. read more

Pros: Convenient location. Cons: 1. No matter how early or late you go, there is always a 20-30 minute line up. I missed the pick-up quite a few times despite arriving early. 2. There are only two counters and the cashiers are very slow. No to mention the cashiers are not helpful at all. Half of them are trainees. They openly discuss how much "it sucks" to work in this location and that they are looking for other jobs. Like the previous reviewer, I also walk 10 minutes to go to a different Canada Post location. Don't waste your time. Just avoid this branch. :) read more

I've experienced poor customer service before, and this takes the cake. All I needed were stamps for two cards I was sending via international mail - simple. But my experience was jarring. The male employee working at this location today was not only impatient with me, but with his co-worker as well, who was trying her best to serve a hearing-impaired customer. He was rude, brash, and impatient in the way he spoke and the way he behaved - putting his co-worker down and slamming papers on the desk. When the customer that was hearing-impaired attempted to thank this employee for his help, the said employee was very dismissive. I chose this location because it's open on Saturdays. But I will not go back here again. I can find another location, or my mail can wait. I don't typically write reviews here because I understand that people have bad days and everybody deserves a second chance. But it wasn't only me that was treated poorly in this situation, but two others, within the span of what.. three minutes? I hate to think about others being treated this way; hence, the review. read more

A birthday card arrived for me today. It's only 4 days late. The sick and nasty thing was that not only does it arrive through my front door slot all torn open and ripped up the cheque that was inside as a birthday present was stolen out of the envelope. Why would you even deliver something that has been torn open and ripped up without any explanation especially when one can see that all the other mail in the same delivery was not torn open and ripped up. Makes one think it was someone at Canada Post that simply stole the money. Called Canada Post at 1-866-607-6301 to complain. The girl on the phone did try I could tell she was trying but she was too limited due to her low IQ and the antiquated system she was working with to actually do anything. The result of that call in the end upon reflection was that I was continually put on hold and nothing was done. Just don't use Canada Post to send money. Use electronic bank transfers instead. Don't give your business to Canada Post. The cheque came from the USA so the electronic bank transfer route was not available to the sender. read more
