I once took a box in with the return slip to the seller and even though this couple realized my parcel needed to be shipped by Purolator, not Canada Post (because of the return label the seller provided) they took the same and loving meticulous care in taping up the package and taping on the return slip, even though they weren't going to make any money off me. This outlet truly holds customer care central to them and I sometime drive out of my way just to take my parcels to them. Thank you.

In the last year or so the business was sold and the new owners are terrible. Where to start? Front desk girls who have complete conversations in Cantonese in front of waiting customers, overcharging for services when other postal outlets charged less for the same service. On one occasion my daughter brought a parcel slip in and was told 3 days in a row that the pkg wasn't there. Went back on the 4th day and someone else told her that the pkg was sent back to England because no one bothered to come and pick it up. Then more recently I brought a parcel slip in and was told the pkg wasn't there and the customer service person didn't even scan the slip or go to the back to look. On our 3rd visit we got the pkg. And when I told my story at work, a co-worker who lives in the area said she has had the same experience. So sad that these new owners get the benefit of the previous owners' reviews.

The automatic doors were too sensitive when it was a bank. I'd round the corner, fairly far from the entrance, and the doors would open for me. Nooo! This post office location is closed on weekends. It was nice walking by the main entrance this evening without the doors opening up. It's street parking. I normally don't have difficulty finding a spot. However, if you can't find anything, you can park where the condos are just north of this Canada Post. There are marked visitor spots. I looked through the glass like the curious person that I am. If you are renting a mailbox, you have access to it at all hours. There are many boxes and sizes, depending on your needs. There are parcel boxes that require a key to access a box. There's also a mailbox that built into the wall. Current hours of operation are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. It's like it's still a bank! It's closed on statutory holidays. It's Victoria Day tomorrow, so there's no postal services here, for instance. It's a nice addition to Markham to have a standalone Canada Post. Most of the time, you have one within either a Shoppers Drug Mart or something different, like a gift shop at Warden and Highway 7. I dig it this new Canada Post. I've been there to send out some mail, parcels and also to pick up some packages. Each time I was greeted by some friendly staff and all transactions were processed with no issues. I know that the staff has changed from the previous location and in my opinion I like the current ones better. The place is small but seems to have everything needed for all our mailing needs.

Well, you guess all correct, NO ONE EVER CALLED WHATSOEVER FROM CANADA POST WHOEVER! Moreover, it has been noticed by me that since about the same date I posted my complaint about Canada Post, at least 3 known & expected regular mails supposedly by Canada Post has not been received at all. Not to mention, unknown number of my Canada Post delivered mails has possibly disappeared without my knowledge since about Feb 20/26. Canada Post has my personal information when I called & complained to this "James" person on Feb 20/26 as they demanded such information in order to process my complaint, & so on. If someone at Canada Post is indeed stealing or preventing some of my mails from reaching me, I believe that is an open violation of not only the Canada Post Corporation Act but also the Criminal Code of Canada & breach of trust.
