Terrible service from this location…read more Went there Friday March 31, 2017, to ask why a postal delivery worker did not buzz my apt to deliver a parcel, even though I stayed home all morning waiting for the delivery. Got a nasty counter person who told me to call the Canada Post toll-free customer service line. I have called there before on other issues without a lot of luck. They can tell you your postal code or how much a stamp costs but cannot deal with difficult customer service issues. There is also a second issue with the postal delivery person for our apartment building putting my confidential mail in another tenant's mailbox. Fortunately, the property manager of the building caught the error and delivered my mail to me. It was my T-4 with name, address, social insurance number and summary of all my earnings for 2016. In the wrong hands, it would be perfect for identity theft. At the post office, I asked to speak to a manager. The counter agent refused saying there was no manager there. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The agent refused saying there was no one. She did say there were "people in the back" (??) and scribbled down three phone numbers. I asked the agent to please provide the names of whom I was calling. Was I calling a driver or district manager? Who? She refused. She said they were "delivery people." I asked the counter agent for her name and she refused to identify herself. I called and left a message on one of the numbers she gave me. A supervisor named Shelley did call back the same day. She was excellent to deal with. Good listener, respectful. I asked for her full name but she said she was not allowed to give it out. I thanked her as she said she would look into my issue on Monday. I was passed to a man named Simon who said he was a Canada Post Superintendent, apparently working out of the Cranford Way Post Office -- the same post office where I had spoken to the mean front counter agent. He said he could not give me his name either but did give me an ID number. He seemed very forthright. I advised him I would send him a copy of my written complaint to facilitate good communication. I then contacted Canada Post head office in Ottawa. I tried to reach the Senior VP of Customer Relations but he is no longer there and the position has been eliminated. I was able to resolve previous problems with his office on a different matter in the past. I did reach a manager of Customer Service located in Winnipeg MB. She was excellent to speak with. I sent her my written complaint by email March 31 at 5:23 pm MT. I copied CBC Marketplace and will fax same to Simon the Superintendent on April 2. I will file a federal Freedom of Information request to see if I can get Simon's last name as I am sure it is available to the public. I don't like dealing with anonymous public servants. I thought that only gang members and the Mafia preferred to remain anonymous. The manager said she would forward my complaint to Canada Post in Ottawa April 3 because the Ottawa office was closed when I contacted her in Winnipeg. Reply is pending. The majority of people I have met over the years who work for Canada Post are great employees who love their job. I have met mail carriers who enjoyed being outside to deliver mail and liked building a relationship with customers on their walk. I know counter people too who are competent and friendly. It is unfortunate that the counter person I dealt with was so nasty. Hopefully she will get the training she needs -- and a name tag.

I'm not really happy that my package is delayed for delivery. When it said July 26 it would be…read morehere. First of there was and issue with the tracking number then this. If they Have issues with the computer they really not delay the delivery for 2 day. Especially when it supposed to be delivered one a Friday. Literally I think when that happens They should deliver the package the day after even though they're not supposed to deliver anything to the mailboxes on Saturdays and Sundays I think that would be way better customer service to get packages to people who have to wait for a delayed package. I don't understand when it's still late on a Friday why we have to wait till Monday in order to get our package. Canada post is crap. I honestly am disappointed with this whole delivery issue and tracking issue.

Staff is unfriendly, lazy, slow, and unhelpful. Staff overall doesn't seem to agree on or…read moreunderstand the the policies; one staff member will give me my partner's package and another won't unless my partner is there, despite living in the same suite. I've stopped by multiple times just to waste my time when they refuse to give me a package that I have to come back with my partner to claim. I ordered a 15.5kg package that one staff member couldn't lift, which is a little pathetic. They had a trolly right beside the front desk, but instead opted to shove the package along the floor for two minutes until they asked ME to come behind the counter and pick it up for them. Absolutely horrendous. Get a dolly or staff that can lift the 50lb minimum. I'd get my packages delivered anywhere else if I had a choice.

I believe this location has the laziest Postal Delivery Persons…read more They changed our community mailboxes so I no longer had a key. I called the number and requested a key. They stated that I would receive notice that my key would be available for pickup by a note on our door or a call. Never received a note so the key was sent back. I requested a key for my box a second time. I didn't receive a note stated the key was available for pick up. I called and required and they stated I had receive three notices and they were going to send back the Key. I went and picked up my key. What did I find in my Box all the notices to pickup my new key. How am I suppose to receive these notices before I have received my Key. I wish it was like the states and Government ran, I wouldn't have to put up with this BS.
