How do you prove what you brought in? Saadly you can't but you can hope the workers would be honest. The time before this, I told myself I would never go back as there is a heavy set gentleman working who is very rude and nasty. I only went this time as they are one of the few return places open on Sunday. I definitely will not be back that's for sure.

This time I had LOTS so I thought I'd give it a try. This business is unusual in that the business operates out of the building's side entrance. Parking is adequate, especially since the turn over rate here is surprising. I was met at the door by two very friendly employees who explained how this system works. They do everything. Just hand them the bags and stand back. The system operates so quickly that I was just barely able to keep up bringing bags in. The system is totally automated. Once the workers empty the bags into the sorting area everything is automatic. It's really amazing to watch as the bottles and cans are arranged and processed to a conveyor belt that takes them away. Everything is counted by computer. When finished, you're given a ticket that you take to a window where you are paid. Start to finish, 779 bottles and cans were processed in 6 minutes including getting paid I will never go anywhere else again.

Nickels Redemption Center has been around for awhile now, but just being around as a redemption…read morecenter isn't going to cut it - and this place offers more than just your normal redemption of can and bottles! There is always plenty of parking and it's easy to get to. Besides having the friendliest staff - they also feature the "wheel" with various amount from 5 cents up to I believe 8 cents - maybe 9 cents, plus they also add gift cards sometimes to the wheel. The way it works is that they count up all your bottles and cans and then you take a "spin" whatever the wheel lands on - that's how much you get per bottle - so you always get at least 5 cents per bottle, but sometimes you get more :) They are very organized and clean - though there is always that smell of a redemption center - it's still worth it! They even give out candy - LOL - but that's not all. They have some very interesting gifts in there too - candles and glasses made from recycled beer and pop bottles and cans - very interesting and they make great gifts for that hard to shop for person. So the next time you have a bag of returns, you are looking for a unique gift and you are the area - stop here and test out your luck!

You can't miss this place! Located in Depew, it boasts a barn-like facade and a sizeable parking lot. Lots of spaces up front so taking your bottles and cans in is made even easier. Inside, it's eclectically decorated and full of fun knick-knacks, so you'll have plenty to look at while you wait. And the most surprising thing: it is pristinely clean! No nasty smells or gross sights. The employees here are top-notch, too. They are very kind and accommodating -- if you need any help bringing your cans in, they'll give you a hand. And they're super fast-moving as well. I could never keep the numbers straight in my head, so I give them props for being so good at mental math! Their ability to meet our needs in a quick and timely manner was top notch. My only feedback as to areas for improvement would be in understanding the contract and knowing when the dumpster was going to be delivered. Make sure you or they put down planks before they pull into your driveway. Simple and cheap solution to distribute their weight that won't destroy your property. I'll remove this when review they call me back and fix the damage.
