When we drove up on the scale, it took a while for someone to come out. Since we were bringing in specialized metals, we were directed to proceed to a special area. It took a few minutes for someone to bring us the special bin we needed to put out cargo in. Sorting of the material was quick and easy. The employees were friendly and helpful but the facility seemed to be grossly understaffed. The outside space was efficiently arranged and despite the fact that it is a scrap yard it was surprisingly clean. I realize that scrapping is not for everyone but if you have junk lying about, call them and get their prices. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

I mentioned to the staff that I couldn't stay long, as I was on my lunch break from my job at the squirrel taxidermy business down the road. The handsome young man behind the counter counted all of the cans in under 8 minutes. Typically a wealthy aristocrat such as myself, would not bother wasting time returning worthless hunks of aluminum. However, I donated 99% of the proceeds to the Max A. Krakowiak House for the Poor. The other 1% I spent on googly eyes and macaroni noodles for my stuffed squirrels. I will be sure to spread the word about this fine establishment with my extensive business network (however many of these individuals are not nearly as wealthy as myself). P.S. Thank you for letting me borrow the shower and toilet paper (they have 3-ply!!!!) as I was extra sweaty from saving a kitten from a tree (the tree was 660 ft tall).

I don't care to recycle since I'm rich but I wanted to reduce my taxable income since I make so much money. I would never go to this place again. I made them give me all of my bottles back so I could go to Buffalo's Best Bottle & Can Redemption Center, located at 4040 Clinton St, West Seneca, NY. Those guys would give you the shirt off their back, or even a gift card to Wegmans (I am a partial owner of Wegmans). Please don't contact me for any clarinet repair I am very busy.

I can understand why they're doing that but isn't the whole existence of this place to take as many cans as possible? I ended up returning $22 worth of cans thanks to the worker who was by himself. One worker counting cans is a disaster. It creates a line of impatient people. Tons of people walked in with cans only to immediately leave. My last visit I saw multiple cars leave the parking lot. I get to the door and it was locked. There was a sign on the door that said "gone for lunch - 12:30 to 1". It was 11:15AM... I had to take $25 worth of cans to Consumers. If you want to make enemies, take more than $10 worth of deposits to a beer store. I've called multiple times to confirm hours, no one picks up. Someone at Consumers said they may be going through "new ownership" or a renovation. Either way they need to fix this place.

No nasty smells or gross sights. The employees here are top-notch, too. They are very kind and accommodating -- if you need any help bringing your cans in, they'll give you a hand. This time I had LOTS so I thought I'd give it a try. This business is unusual in that the business operates out of the building's side entrance. Parking is adequate, especially since the turn over rate here is surprising. I was met at the door by two very friendly employees who explained how this system works. They do everything. Just hand them the bags and stand back. The system operates so quickly that I was just barely able to keep up bringing bags in. The system is totally automated. Once the workers empty the bags into the sorting area everything is automatic. It's really amazing to watch as the bottles and cans are arranged and processed to a conveyor belt that takes them away. Everything is counted by computer. When finished, you're given a ticket that you take to a window where you are paid. Start to finish, 779 bottles and cans were processed in 6 minutes including getting paid I will never go anywhere else again.
