But this particular gas station left such an impression that not only did I stop to take pics but I left myself a note to review it on my dash. (My past self helps out my future self a lot...) I stopped in here for a routine gas up after coming back from SSI. First off, the second I walked in the door, both people behind the counter greeted me so cheerfully it made me smile. I grabbed an apple juice and made my way to the counter. I had a side mission to put air in my tires so I asked how much the air pump outside cost. And then I pulled a girlie move. I'm notoriously bad when it comes to cars. If you've SEEN my car you understand this sentence completely but to sum it up, let's just say I haven't been the best mum to little red car... i'm like one of those wacked out pagent mom's that bandaids up their kid every so often with redbull and hopes for the best. I throw oil in her. I gas her up. But other then that, i'm pretty clueless. So I asked how much air should be put in the tires. The gentleman behind the counter launched into an incredibly informative but completely over my head explanation about how I should not fill the tires to the max listed due to air pressure, or air heating... something to that effect. He was so pleasant in telling me the air of air pressure that I didn't want to interupt him with my normal, sarcastic "translation please" speech. When the super perky woman beside him chirped "fill them until the gauge hits 32. Period." We all laughed and I made my way outside. Totally upbeat from such a positive and comical interaction, I began filling my tires and low and behold, the gent came trotting across the tarmac to see if I had figured everything out! Friendly AND follow up? Well done Shell crew! We chatted for a few more minutes, I went in to wash my hands, tires successfully full (and double checked) and as I left, both employees stopped what they were doing/who they were serving momentarily to exuberantly wave and wish me well. I have not had such a positive interaction at a gas station.... EVER! Super friendly. Super helpful. Super genuine. Dear employees - I wish I had gotten your names but if you ever happen upon this, THANK YOU for truly giving a damn! You absolutely made my afternoon. If you want to get your fix of Techron, you can get it done here…read more The gas costs about 6c/L more than Can-Am. It's way cheaper than buying a bottle of Techron additive, which is $14 to treat 80L (ie 18c/L). With that said, they actually sell bottles of Techron here. Why you can't buy Techron bottles in Canada is beyond me. The station itself is older, but the pumps have been renovated. Most importantly, the pumps are on 24h! American-priced gas is a truly beautiful thing.

It's a two sided gas station, with pumps on both sides and a small store in the middle of this thing, you have two ways of entry. Not always are all the pumps working, and as Edward has noted, the gas is more costly here than the Can-Am up the block, but if you believe in brand name gas, and your car demands the Chevron... here's your town pump. Just like most, if not all gas stations in Point Roberts.. it's 24 hours, don't think I have ever seen it full service here. Also, just like all the stations down here.. the price is in litres. Just another business supporting the local economy of Pt. Roberts, besides the mail box locations.

Have gone to Can Am many times but for their cheap gas but after todays experience will seriously reconsider as an incident occurred involving the owner or manager as I was told by the lady cashier inside. I was pumping gas today Feb 26. 2015 around 2pm, many other customers there at same time to witness older white haired man at bay closest to the cashier's area berating and going ballistic at a motorist who had pulled up to a pump behind him, yelling at her/them 'get the fuck out of here'...'you aren't getting your fucking gas here today!!!'...'LEAVE!!! I told you to get the fuck out of here'...it was so volatile and upsetting and went on and on for several minutes. He was so!!! out of control. Myself and others were agape at his behavior, all of us stopping what we were doing. I wanted to approach as I was more than a little concerned about the safety of those on the receiving end of his extremely ugly behavior. I heard him yell further at them that first they were speeding, then they almost ran in to him...so obviously something had occurred on the main drag beforehand. When I went in to the cashier to pay the altercation was still occurring and I asked her 'are you aware that there is a huge altercation taking place right outside your window as we speak?'... that is when she looked, quite disinterestedly, and told me 'oh, that's the owner...well actually, the manager I guess you would say...I'll have a word with him'...I said 'Are YOU kidding me! Wow, nice advertising'...then she took my cash and that was that. I do not feel like giving them my hard earned cash EVER again!!!!! There is enough anger and violence in the world at large without having to be witness to such ugliness in my own back yard. To this man I say 'SHAME!!! ON YOU!'... read more

For as long as it has been here, they have always kept everything from the grounds outside, to the store front inside clean. Even the washroom, cause you never know when you need to use it, and when you do, you would rather go into one that is sanitary then the nightmares that all of us have seen in some other gas station washrooms. Usually never too busy, with enough pumps to serve everyone who rolls through, and they take Save-On points cards.

Had to come here on a Craigslist buying meetup, as both me and the seller work around the area, and this is probably one of the safest places to meet up. Since I was early, I parked in one of the stalls after putting minimal petrol in the car. Parked in one of their slots, and walked into the store. The store is nice and new, as I had to buy lotto, and it was a ot day, the a/c was jacked, probably because this store also houses a White Spot Triple O's diner. If you want gas, and a stop to eat some better food than what a regular gas station can give you.. and you are lazy enough to not go anywhere else... one stop shop indeed. Also noticed they just changed their gas signs... and the numbers showing the outrageous Canadian prices is bright, LED bright, so they are saving gas while showing you how much you will be paying to feed your ride! If you are along Marine Drive.. may as well roll up here, it's newer due to the recent face lift, and bright.
