Had to come to the campus of MSU to get some new ink on my arm. Within the block was this place and I was short on time. Ordered just a burger and I had it fresh in my hand in 7 minutes. This place is the size of my closet. The floor is sticky and a little dirty. The prices were about $6 for just the burger and a few more bucks for fries, chips or a drink. The working alone did everything. There isn't room for two employees anyway. It's tucked away off the ally, with a connecting door from Jersey Mike's. The guy was super friendly and talked to me the whole time he cooked my food. I'll be back for more ink and I'll stop here for another burger. It's these little local places that matter. Burger stand that's best for takeout. Any dine-in will be in Jersey Mike's, which is a little cumbersome. Speed of service varies as there is usually only one employee - get there during a rush and you'll have to wait longer than you'd like. Burgers themselves are good - griddled with grilled buns and just about any toppings you'd like. Fries are decent quality - nothing really stands out. Shakes are fresh and quite good. read more

Decided to try this place because 5 Guys had just closed and I wanted a burger. The Good: I actually liked the fries quite a bit. They were good. The Bad: The burger. Well it actually does taste good but its only a step above McDonalds and not close to a real burger place. Which I think is fine considering you cannot compete with 5 Guys. My issue here is the pricing is the same as 5 Guys so I was expecting a substantial burger with a good bun and solid toppings. There is a niche here this place could fill - the mid tier burger place that is good but not too expensive. However, the prices are too high for me to recommend this place and theres no reason to come here unless 5 Guys has already closed for the night. Solid food but prices need to come down probably 2 dollars or more on the burgers. read more

Food was excellent. Previous reviews complained about the size of the burgers... they are sliders and cost little for each sandwich. If you're paying under $3 and expect a full size burger then go get fast food. It took about 20 minutes from the time I ordered but I had ordered by phone and expected the wait. It is a very small take-out restaurant manned by only one person at a time, so I would recommend ordering first and then going to pick it up. The music was a little too loud when I went there but most the time I walk by this place there are no customers so I kind of understand. read more

Here's a burger joint that I found in East Lansing Michigan, I was down a hidden alleyway The only way I found it, was a sign out on the main drag on Grand River Ave. So hidden in this back alleyway, is a small burger joint campus burgers, very easy to read menu, pretty fast good burgers good fries. Not a bad meal for $9. read more

TLDR: Good sliders, bad prices. Everything here is ordered A-la-carte, which is fine if the prices were a little better. I ordered 2 sliders and chili fries for $9.31. The price wouldn't bug me if the slider paddy was slightly more substantial. I think I had more pickle in the cheeseburger than beef. Even their large deals have a laughable price. Their standard slider runs $2.60, the "Frat Pack" cost $64.50 for 25 sliders. That's $2.58 per slider equalling a whopping $.50 in savings... What a deal. The flavors were good and they obviously care about putting out a decent product, and they did just open, so maybe after a few months they'll work out the kinks and this place will be a better value. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise, I have been back quite a few times. Hamburgers and fries are descent, but the real winners are the coneys, the chili is marvelous! Seating is shared with Jersey Mike's, so dining in is no problem. I just wish they would sell bowls of their chili, my only complaint. read more

Place is called Campus Burgers but only sells small sliders. Disappointed in this establishment, definitely should up the meat in a "burger"

This place sucks, crappy service and worse food. Items are cheap and it shows you are better off going to McDonald's at least its fast. Would not recommended to anyone I cared about. read more

Think about getting a McDonalds burger except with slightly better taste and the price of a "fast casual" restuarant. That's what you're going to get here. It's not worth the price, there is no seating, instead you go into another restaurant connecting on the side and the place is only run by a single person. The burgers are thin cheap tasting patties. The buns are plain and have no flavour. The onion rings were like those cripy fried onions you get at the store. read more

Food is okay, I ordered a veggie burger and it was just a morning star patty. Fries and milkshake was pretty good. However the burger was not worth the price since a pack of the morning star is roughly the same price. read more

This place is great. Whenever my friends from back come come into town this is our number one place to go. The burgers are small for the money but are so good they are worth it. Shoutout to the Russke Burger. Fries are good too, and the milkshakes are the best I have found anywhere else in East Lansing, especially the vanilla. While I do agree this place might be a little overpriced, I still think the food is worth it. read more

I'd love to try the food, but I couldn't get any. On my lunch hour, I made the trip to Campus Burger only to find that the "burgers" are merely sliders. When I arrived, the OPEN sign was up. The one employee there had the music blaring so loudly that we couldn't hear each other speak. The fryer and grill were obviously not ready to cook. She made some offhand remark about the place not being closed properly the night before, so she was struggling to get ready. After waiting 7 minutes for her to take my order, she told me it would be at least 15-20 minutes for the food to be ready. What kind of place expects you to wait 27 minutes during your lunch hour? I had to get my money back and go elsewhere for lunch. She should have had up the CLOSED sign. They wasted my time and the employee seemed to be annoyed with me for coming in and expecting to get lunch at 11:45am. Maybe one of these days, they'll be ready and not lose business for lack of preparedness. read more

Used to regular this place and when I say regular I mean sometimes twice a day but typically three or four times a week, I absolutely loved it however I had not been here in about a year and the other day I came in and ordered the burger I always ordered it it was a bit off it tasted a little old and dry like the burger patties had been pressed down on the grill however today when I went in the gentleman talked about taking pictures for the new menu and it was taking a long time to make my burger I noticed that he had put my burger together nicely for photos however I had informed him I was in a bit of a hurry and would appreciate if you would take photos of food another time as mine was getting cold. I watched the Cook then place another customers eggs in the bottom of the grill where are you scrape the grease and burnt food to as he placed my burger and then grab the eggs and place them on patties to serve to another customer. There is no chance I would ever recommend this place to anyone going forward and I will never return read more
