I love their Disney section and their fun gifts although they are quite pricey. They always have a great clearance section too. The coffee shop, Joe Muggs, wasn't as great though. They have changed their menu and no longer have Italian sodas which was a bummer. They did have fun literary themed drinks this visit like Butterbrew from Harry Potter and The Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland, which we tried and liked. My husband thought the brewed coffee wasn't great (lacked flavor and scorching hot) and they had no milk or cream avail on the condiment station. I do wish BM offered a kids program or free rewards program like Barnes and Noble. Most of their discounts seem to be for online or for their paid membership.

The staff are always friendly and helpful and we often see the owner when we visit the store. We appreciate having a quality store like this close to our home and in our city.

They trade for credit at a better rate than other used bookstores I've known. Achtung, baby! They've got cats -- several of them, all free-roaming. One or two are meanies, and they all urinate freely, leaving that special odor to mingle with the natural moldy scent of decaying books. With this added ... oh, je ne sais quoi, what other bookstore can compare?

The store boasts, many historic and hard to find books, as well as a great selection of novels and books that you would find in any modern bookstore. I really like the feel of the basement when you descend the stairs into the cozy space filled with books in every corner. It's just my kind of spot!

A massive selection of vintage and current books in just about every genre. You have to be willing to browse and wander b/c there is a lot in a very large space. There is even a room full of National Geographic magazines dating back to the 1920s. The lady at the register, the owner I assume, was kind and helpful. They take cash or check only. Prices were pretty good. Most paperbacks I saw were 50 cents to $1. A must stop for book and antique lovers!
