Took my camper van into CW-London for some minor propane warranty related repairs and both Camping World and Thor Industries not only completed the work in a timely manner, they also communicated every step and aspect of the project flawlessly. I've been impressed with the service department staff, the technicians and general management at this store. Regardless of all the, pardon the pun, Unhappy Campers out there, I can assure you that this particular CW and Thor warranty division will not only complete your business in a professional and responsible manner but will go to great lengths to ensure you are satisfied. I highly recommend and encourage you to seek out this store and Thor RV's if you're in the market. This location is the worst service location I have ever dealt with. They have had our low mileage, excellent condition Jayco RV for over a month just to replace the awning and service the generator. The price for the work has more than doubled their initial written estimate. They charged $1,600 to replace the carburetor on the generator, then found out that it probably didn't need the carb. Then they wanted an additional $1,800 to replace the governor on the generator, then determined that it didn't need that either. Now they're saying it needs brushes and brush blocks. They NEVER call us to let us know what's going on unless we call them, then they'll return our call eventually. BTW, the generator only has about 130 hours on it, so it's barely broke in. I honestly don't think they have a clue what they're doing. Our final bill is almost $7,000 flippin dollars and we don't even have the RV back yet. read more

Update! after my puchase got home and realized that camping world added on almost $6,000 of protection plans, roadside assistance and gap I never requested! Your crooks, I also called corporate and nothing, everyone I told they are like yes they are crooks, I should have looked at the bad reviews before I went down there. I purchased an rv a month ago, the air conditioning broke and leaks so I have to put a tarp on the top, I keep saying we will take care of it, they sent someone out to out rv and I thought they would fix it only to hear them say yes you need a new seal and air conditioning I will put a order in for it and nothing. I have pictures and videos of all the water that came in our rv. Thanks camping for making our experience a nightmare. read more

Update 7/19, Less than 24 hours from my contact, corporate staff did contact me. The woman was polite, apologetic, and proactive in her reply. I'll update further on the outcome of pending recompense. While it cannot undo the experience yesterday, the timely response from the headquarters is amazing. read more

So they called me and said camper is ready,so I drive 3 1/2 hours one way ! Walk in tell them I'm her to pick up my camper tries to get me to sign paperwork before I even look at the camper, go check out the camper nothing is fixed actually it's worse now then when I dropped it off generator do want it does right in front of them multiple times he said what you want me to do I said fix it he says it's running there's nothing I can do !!! Absolutely worse company ever !!!!! Got home looked under camper brace they just reinstalled fell again and the door where you pump gas out for your Toys is missing screws and was flapping on the way home and didn't even know it !! This is absolutely ridiculous !! We need to start a civil suit against camping world if anyone is interested get ahold of me @7405503416 , going to an attorney myself and going to the television station this week !! read more

We had a deal 4 days before going to pick up our campe and then when we got to finance they wanted to change the term without mentioning it.. We were VERY upset.. Camping World says they only bought the land but when you go to bigdaddyrvs.com it is directed to Camping World RV and they sell RV's, its a coincidence, I think NOT. Please do not buy or sell anything to these people. Big Daddy RV sold me a brand new travel trailer and below are just a few things not including all of the lose moulding and popped out screws: - Kitchen faucet is leaking through the handle - Shower drain is not even connected and water pools up inside - Main Door is not even installed properly - Slide door not even attached - Missing Exhaust Cover when received - Doesn't take any responsibilities whatsoever and try's to weasel out of warrantied services.
