My family is originally from Somerset, KY. In 1987, the federal government recruited me as I had…read moregraduated With Distinction from Eastern Kentucky University's College of Law Enforcement. They sent me to South Florida where, for the first five years of my Federal Law Enforcement career, I was a Special Agent, assigned to Marine Drug Interdiction. In addition to that experience, I have owned and operated boats since the mid '70's. I am an experienced Boat Operator, and I have a 100 Ton Ocean Master's Certificate. In late 2019, we replaced our Scarab with a 2020 NauticStar 2302 Center Console, a design favored by Law Enforcement everywhere. We bought the boat from Coast to Coast Marine in Somerset, KY who recommended Sick Speed Marine to install the electronics. I like a boat outfitted with the equipment I am used to - VHF, RADAR, SONAR, Directional Remote Controlled Searchlight, etc. I've found that most local boaters do not use VHF radios - a must have option in South Florida where this boat will spend much of it's time. My friends would characterize me as being somewhat "OCD," and others might use more colorful adjectives but, suffice it to say, anything less than first rate equipment, properly installed, and fully functional is wholly unacceptable to me. The sea is an unforgiving place, and on more than one occasion, my safety has depended upon it. I was offered a fair price, and I accepted the proposed invoice as written, with the understanding that everything would be professionally installed. The final work product by Nick and Derek at Sick Speed was immaculate. I hope this Review is helpful. Be Safe Out There Bill E. Branscum InvestigatorBEB@aol.com

They've done exactly that and then some. I wholeheartedly recommend Marine Works and owner/master mechanic Danny for an overall quality experience. Before I bought a boat from them they did the maintenance and fixed anything i had wrong with my original boat. Danny would take the time to walk me through troubleshooting to make sure it wasn't something small before I drove an hour to bring my boat down there. He always shot me straight and was fair which I appreciated immensely. Fast forward a year and I bought my brand new boat from them. The process was seamless and they took care of everything for me. If I didn't like how something was done they made it right. Danny has always made me feel like a priority which is all you can ask for from a dealer.

Good customer service is not dead!!! It is alive and well at Marine Works!!! As I said before, I don't live there but if I did I would buy my boat from them! Thanks Janice and Tina!!!
