Our meetup was at the Gaspé Harbour. Our guide Ralf was there waiting for us when we arrived a half hour early. He has a trailer in the parking lot clearly marked with his company logo. After a bathroom stop for the kids in the public bathrooms, Ralph suited us up in fisherman rain gear and life jackets. It was lightly raining during our trip. We were soaked thoroughly. I definitely recommended warm layers under the rain gear, in wool or fleece. We went in July and were definitely chilled from the wind, rain, and mist. A wool toque would be a good idea for temperatures under 20°c. Ralph is bi-lingual, extremely affable, informative, knowledgeable, and a coast guard so we were in excellent hands. The zodiac boat ride is exciting and thrilling. We saw plenty of harbour seals, and got extremely close to a group of humpback whales who let us get a good look at them. Grownups and kids alike had an excellent time and highly recommend it.

If you only park less than 30 minutes it's free. At perce we had two event in one day, and it's pretty busy for us. First was this platform sightseeing, and the second was the cruise tour to the ile Bonaverture. We bought the shuttle bus ticket and there was some explanation of the area. If not, the hiking takes 50mins. We had a busy schedule so we glad we did it. On the platform there was also a guide to tell us the fun facts of all four different generations of rocks. Very worthy experience. Already recommended to all my friends. Forgot to mention it's an UNESCO park.

We were here for two nights - our kitchenette was big enough for our purposes, and the room was quite large. The folks at the front desk/reception area are professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Small quibbles: it's a couple of miles from Perce's town center, and not really walkable to there...and like Nasi, we didn't have a view of the rock from our room. Water in the sinks and shower took an annoyingly long time to heat up, and the wifi was intermittent to the point of being useless. But, really, you didn't come to Gaspesie to mess around on your iPhone - get out and see all that this amazing region has to offer. Overall, this place got the job done and then some. The small chalets with no kitchenettes do not have the great view of the rock but we chose the privacy over the view as our other option would have been the motel rooms. On top of that I also loved the coziness and cuteness of the wooden interior. There is free wifi but the speed is really low. No breakfast was included when we stayed (early August)

We had to ask for towels to be replaced . The parking is impossible! There are not enough slots for all the hotel rooms and it is very inconvenient. And expensive !
