    The Columbia Greene Humane Society did not let me adopt a dog because my mom's address did not have…read moreme listed as a resident there which is news to me since that's where I live and receive all of my mail. They were very rude to me over the phone when I tried to explain my living situation. However apparently according to them I don't have a place of residency, and we don't own our home. They do not value the dogs finding a forever home like they claim. When I had the meet and greet with the dog, I picked out which was a Siberian Husky Mix, I even told them that I already went shopping for the dog's necessities. Their staff also is unprofessional and has poor response time as I waited a week to hear back from a staff member after I had already been there and contacted them on various occasions regarding my application in which I had to leave a voicemail even during their regular business hours.

    The service sucked we brought a few of our cats and they got mad I do not recommend this place at…read moreall they will talk bad about you and get really mad for no reason and after we asked to get my dog his meds they said " no we don't have them they were never a proscription " like it's on his last vet paperwork and when we left they called us like five minutes later and said that they have the medication for the dog so we had to go back later because we needed a break from them and there was only one nice dude there who actually cared
