So we sit down and we have 3 choices of app and entree and 2 desserts. We sat down at 6:30pm and we waited for a half hour for our appetizer which they where confused of the order. 30 mins for are entrees which they mess up on. And 25 mins for dessert. I understand if the place was a full crowd. But come on there were other tables that where waiting too.. The food wasn't the greatest. My entree I had double fried chicken and waffles. I had better chicken and waffles at a diner. Hire better staff and get your ducks in a row.

Today, my Stepson went to a birthday party for his friend, and we all tagged along. It was the…read morefirst time Liam had ever been in a pool, and he had a blast. He willingly went under water several times, and refused to get out even with his lips quivering. The Aquadome in Lasalle was amazing. There are slides for kids of all ages, (Liam was obsessed with the one in the baby/toddler area), and a neat umbrella which was his second favourite spot. The room for the party was spacious, yet simple. You can buy bathing suits and floating devices at the front desk and there is also a snack bar with tables and chairs in a separate area away from the pool. We didn't try the food since the party had its own food, but it looked amazing. The family changing area was great- quite a few stalls, several changing tables for little ones and many bathrooms, all of which, were very clean. You can tell the garbages are changed frequently. I was told the separate male only changing room was larger than the family one, but I obviously didn't see the inside of it for myself. The life guards do their jobs well and ensure a safe environment. They have their seats but also stand at different points around the pool so there are several vantage points. We will definitely be going back.

There was lots of parking and this place is open very late as family swim ends at 8:45pm here! However, I think they could do better. The locker room had dirt and hair all over the floor and oddly enough there were no hooks next to the showers (unless you count the moldy benches but I didn't want to place my stuff there) Once we got into the pool, I immediately noticed that the pool floor was slimy and grimy. I've never felt that before and figured it was chlorine maybe? When I got home and googled it .. it turned out to be algae and a sign that the pool is poorly maintained. They have 3 slides, the large main one was broken and the 2 small ones were open. So, I asked the lifeguard if I could put my 3 year old son on it and she said sure just catch him since he can't swim. I went to catch him as he came down the slide and he went so fast it felt like a blow to my chest. You'd think the lifeguard could have warned me how painful it would be to catch a small child off of one of these slides! The complex that this place is in seems interesting. They have a badminton room and indoor rock climbing. I might come here to check out more activities but no more Aquadome for me! Also, I went off hours, pretty late on a weeknight, and the place was still pretty crowded. I can only imagine how hectic it gets on weekends. Way too many people. I saw several employees just walking around (not even lifeguards) and I think they should have been testing the water quality, mopping the floors, and cleaning the pool. Things that clearly needed to be done but weren't.

Monique's home and garden furniture resells items purchased from other stores. I know this because…read moreway back in 2005 I worked at ClubPRo Pools, I was a student at the time working part time. Monique came into the store and bought 13 gazebos, because she was buying 13 she demanded a discount from the store manager. A month later I visited her store and saw the gazebo on display in her store for hundreds of dollars more that what we're selling them for. There is nothing wrong with her business model, Monique has a knack for displaying the items she sells. She has a good taste in the products she chooses to buy and resell. All the items in here store look very nice. If you are looking for nice items and only want to visit one store to find them and don't mind paying quite a bit extra, then think of Monique's as your personal shopper. However for me personally, I prefer not to pay more $$$$ for something I can go buy or order for much less. It was in 2013-2014, when my wife was looking for bar stools for our kitchen we had just finished renovating. She told me she ordered some nice chairs at "Monique's" My wife was not familiar with monique's business model... She called and canceled the order that same day but it was too late, she offered us a store credit, minus a %10 restocking fee. After a quick search online, we found the "exact" same barstools for a lot less. Yes it was from a Store in the USA, but even after the exchange rate AND the duties and paying Monique a %10 restocking fee, we still saved over $100 PER CHAIR. Now we were left with the problem of having a store credit from a store that sells everything for more than any other place. My wife did go in that store on multiple occasions trying to find something that was decently priced, Everything was hundreds $$$ more. We decided on a coffee table. That exact same table was also at Masse furniture and Ashley homestore. Monique had a sign above her cash register "Price match guarantee" I showed her a picture of the table and price tag at Masse furniture and requested a price match. She refused, stating that Masse furniture and Ashleys were stores that were going out of business and were liquidating their products....(it's 2019 today, Masse and Ashley are still in business) We all had enough of trying to deal with each other, Monique dropped the price of the coffee table to match what we had as store credit. This was a horrible shopping experience for all involved, we were all rude to each other and I think we are all glad to never see each other again. She might have gained a couple hundred $$$ from us for her overpriced furniture. But I think this review will help save many others hundreds of dollars by shopping elsewhere. I was a student working at club pro pools for 1 summer season in 2005, since then my work has been that of a waiter, pilot, automotive technician.
