They will take your money to add you to an imaginary waitlist, which they will then "pause" without notice and without a refund of your deposit. I paid the waitlist fee of $150 on April 6, 2022 with a projected opening spot of December 2022 for my infant. I inquired numerous times regarding my place on the waitlist, only to be given vague responses such as: 1. "We are still working our way through the waitlist" 2. "We have paused all Poway enrollment at this time, we are hoping to enroll new children very shortly into our center. I will be in touch with you soon once we start to move down the waitlist", and 3. "Once we come across your name on the waitlist and a spot becomes available I will be in touch with you immediately." It's the end of January 2023 and I have yet to hear from them. My family and I waited and waited to hear from them, and were not able asses our childcare options properly due to their lack of communication. At this point, I don't believe there is even a waitlist anymore, and i just lost $150 at no fault of our own. If I had removed myself from the waitlist I would understand not getting a refund, but that is not the case. I'm still here waiting for them to "come across my name." She absolutely LOVED the camp. It was really easy-going, professional, and fun. By the end of the week my daughter's riding skills had really exceeded my expectations. My daughter knew the names of the horses, said good morning and good bye to them daily, and just really really really enjoyed herself. We may look into lessons in the future, depending on her schedule. She truly loves the environment, the horses and the staff.

This was completely different. We signed him up for the week-long camp, and from day one, everyone was so welcoming, encouraging, and positive. He absolutely loved it. Every day he came home excited, and by the end of the week he kept asking, "Can I come back again and again?" The location at Creek Road Ranch is a gorgeous, picturesque hideaway in the Poway hills. I only wish they had a bed and breakfast tucked away as well! The children are very gently introduced to the horses. No less than 4 "instructors" flank the child as they are taken into the woods for a trail ride that involves many excercises aimed at stretching and coordination. My son loves riding sweet Bluebell every week and took very little time learning to take cues from his instructor Kathy. He now feeds Bluebell and pets her with confidence and doesn't hesitate to mount her and give her commands. Lessons are affordable and reasonable at $45 for 30 minutes with 4 staff members and the horse.

Riding consistently gives him so much that it's difficult to put into words! He looks forward to it every week, he looks so calm and confident up on Sasha (the horse he rides most often), he loves his instructors, his communication and motor skills have improved...I could go on and on! A beautiful moment came after he had been riding for about a year. At the end of his lesson, when he was giving Sasha her carrots, he tentatively scooted over to Sasha's side, started petting her gently then hugged her with his face pressed on the side of Sasha's neck. As a boy who sometimes has a difficult time expressing his emotions, this was such a miracle! Talk about happy tears! His post-riding hug is now a weekly occurrence.
