I'm a foster parent with 4 yr old male autistic twins. My experience was absolutely terrible. They…read morewere aware of their behavioral issues bc I had to report it all via their application process. Also, before they started camp; I verbally explained their issues and was told that it wouldn't be a problem because they had a severely autistic child already there & they would be supervised by their counselor. They emailed, texted & complained every day. I shadowed the most autistic child one day, and he was fine, the other child splashed water & was told to stop. Lastly, I gave them a $40 personal check for additional snacks, later to find out they didn't receive them bc they weren't on the list. Never, Ever will I let my kids suffer through that again. I think they are scammers.

The Director Seema told us that since he is crying a lot, the teacher is unable to concentrate on other kids and wanted us to drop him. The director told us the my kid is not mentally prepared or matured and he is crying a lot and doesn't understand what we were talking and also said he was very anxious. However, my kid went there only for twice a week and he went there just for four days. He was dropped from the playschool in just four days and they didn't even wanted us to try my kid out for a month at least. We in fact requested them to increase from twice a week to four days week or at least thrice a week so that he has some continuity. They declined this too. Shouldn't they have given enough time for my kid to settle down? But they didn't given enough time for my kid to settle down and insisted on dropping my kid from the playschool just because he was crying. They should have in fact tried to instill some confidence to parents but they didn't. When they dropped my kid, I requested them to refund the registration fees at least. Why would someone want to pay the registration fees when they drop a kid in playschool in just four days. They said the registration fees can't be refunded as well. They are totally unprofessional and I felt very stressed out as a parent leaving my kid in this playschool. The main problem is that the school is understaffed and there is only one teacher for 10 students.

I am amazed at how much my kids have learned, since they started attending. Today's Learning Center provides a fun environment that is also educational. My kids love their teachers and Sima and Jessica (The Director and Assistant Director) have been wonderful resources. They are always there and open to discussing any questions I have. My son starts Kindergarten in September and I am going to really miss getting to do drop-offs and pick-ups where I get to know all of the kids, parents, and teachers. I read the other reviews and feel badly that they had negative experiences because I truly feel TLC is a great place to send your kids.

Supervision and Staying in the RoomDirect Supervision: Daycare staff must supervise children directly at all times, including during transitions and hallway walking. A child wandering out of a room unsupervised constitutes a serious licensing breach. I have continuously tried to work with the daycare to resolve the issue. They have forced me to sign an agreement which is a breech of law to supervise my child. they do not wish to work with me to resolve the issue, instead they are trying to switch responsibility to me the parent and have stated several times to me that there facility is not safe for my 2 year old child who has been attending there since he was 3 months old. I do not recommend them to anybody. I get called 2 or more times a week to come pick up my child. this also accured previously but I had let it go but now they have gone to far!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with Children of America in Sicklerville. My 2.5-year-old…read moredaughter attended three days a week, and instead of receiving support, she was labeled unfairly. Staff (preschool teacher) suggested she was "tensing up around Black children," which was extremely upsetting and inappropriate. I had already informed them she is in the process of being evaluated for autism, yet that context was ignored. What made it worse was a staff member pointing out that she was "fine around the white child in the room," which felt insensitive and unprofessional. My daughter interacts well with adults of all backgrounds, including Black staff members, so this conclusion about her behavior felt inaccurate and concerning. Additionally, she was placed in a baby room without my knowledge, where I did not have camera access. I was not informed about this change, nor was I notified that she needed more diapers--they simply used a different brand without asking me. Overall, communication was poor, and I did not feel my child was understood, respected, or properly cared for. I would not recommend this location to other parents.

I've been here multiple times whether driving through on my way down the shore, or hiking the Batona Trail, or most recently, camping at the lone campground close to the park HQ. We had campsite #60 which is on the edge of the campground so it's a little more secluded. The best and most secluded spots in my opinion are 66, 59 and 58. The campground has indoor flush toilets and showers, as well as several hand pumped water wells throughout. Each campsite has a picnic table, a fire ring, and a hook to hang trash bags from. I have been trying to get into a yoga class for the last few weeks and today was it. I committed…read moreto doing it, went online, found a location close to where I would be working today & signed up as a drop in. I have never ever taken a yoga class before so I signed up for a beginner class and I honestly don't know what I thought it was going to be.....but this wasn't it. First, I couldn't find the place. The gps kept saying arrived - but I didn't believe it because it kept taking me to a shopping center. I saw Kohl's, PetSmart and BurgerKing - no way would there be a yoga studio here. But there it was right next to the Spirit Halloween store with a sign as big as day. Ok so all that farting around looking for the place made me late. I walked in literally 3 minutes before the class started. I ran into a young woman who asked if she could assist me. After explaining that I was there for my first class and apologizing for walking in at the zero hour she told me she was the instructor and that she would wait for me while I changed. Ok - so far, so good. (For me anyway, idk about those 13 other people who had to wait for me) The studio is very clean, peaceful, spacious large windows covered with blinds to set the mood and a corner with mats, blankets, blocks & eye pillows in case you forgot yours. This is where it got a little confusing for me. I thought I would get a workout, I thought someone would correct poses & posture, I thought I would break a sweat or at the very least get a killer stretch. Nope, none of the above. The instructor was sweet and did say this was a beginners class which is what I wanted and she stated that she was pregnant and would be going slowly. Ok, all that's fine - but I'm sitting here wondering what I got out of that one hour class, did I do yoga? Or did I sit on a mat inhaling? On top of everything, $15 for a drop in seems pretty expensive when most other places charge between $7 and $10. I don't know if I'll be back. I kind of want to try a different instructor but am worried that if the class is like this one was, I'll be turned off to yoga. But at the same time, I don't like writing poor reviews and they offer so many classes that it could have just been a one off. There were 13 other people in that room so there is a really good possibility that it was just me and I probably just need more than just breathing.
