This my was my first time boarding him, so he was weird about being away from us, but he was happy. The only reason I gave it a four was because they didn't ever respond to my email. That is irritating. I will probably use them again if I have to, but would still try to find something a little more personal (my old dog had the best boarder in CA).

We had to board our doggie for a night since we were going to the Oregon Caves and no dogs allowed…read more Since Yelp and Google are fantastic resources, I found this place by pure luck. I was really pleased at the location-kind of out in the country and nice and quiet. There was a main house (where I assume the owners live) and then the kennel (they do grooming here as well). We have boarded our dog now a few times at Breton's and our vet, and never has he been taken care of as well as he was here. I was also amazed at the price. $18.00 a night. Very different from the $26-$32 we are charged at home. This place also has huge suites for the pets and though he was whiny when we left him, he wasn't extra whiny or sheddy or jumping to leave like other times. This is really telling and I wish this place were closer to home. I would recommend using them for sure!

Cynthia understands the individual dogs and their interactions with each other, and she's taught me tips on dog behavior that I've used in training my dog. The yard and kennels are clean and the dogs are well cared for. Cynthia is honest and direct. The pricing is very affordable. I'm sure this style of boarding isn't for everyone-- I've had dogs in the past who needed a more structured, traditional kennel setting or who were uneasy around other dogs and would not have been happy here. But it's great for my current dog who seems to regard this place as a second home, arrives willingly, and comes home tired and relaxed.

No better "trainers" anywhere. Way above and beyond anyone else!…read more Kaye and Carrie are top professional behavior modification specialists. They will create an unbreakable bond between you and your pup based on positive reinforcement. There is just no comparison anywhere else. Stay completely away from trainers who use any sort of choke chains. They say they use positive reinforcement and then want to slap a pinch/prong or choke collar on your dog. That is not appropriate in any way for dogs who only want to love and please you. That is negative fear based cruel and abusive training. Only go with the best! Go Rogue!

We need to teach our dogs for weeks how to sniff butts? My dogs can sniff my butt and I didn't even have to train them! Grrrrrrr! I recently adopted an eight week old puppy and searched for a new school. After phone chat with Kate at Go Rogue I decided to place puppy, Siren in their school. Wowzer! We learned more in the very first class than I learned with my other rescue pup in sixteen weeks at Good Dog school. It is awesome! The puppies have several play groups to socialize and just have fun....think of a puppy mosh pit! There are so many fun and challenging obstacles set up all over the room for puppies to explore, feel various textures, get a puppy view of agility....which all of my dogs participate in as they get old enough. The approach is always positive, there are two instructors who offer wonderful assistance if a puppy or their human are having any difficulties. They "include" a wonderful handbook to fully explain things we might forget in class. Always there is homework and each class is followed up with an email reminding us what to work on before next session. Kate and Carrie offer high value treats....they don't charge for these (unlike the other school) if the puppy needs a little motivation. I could write a novel on how fabulous this school is. My puppy, Siren just graduated today from her Puppy 1 six week session. ( forgot to say, this school charges $165 for six weeks, Good Dog charged $217 for eight weeks of sniffing butts and click for calm and if you want a hand book fork over an additional $25 bucks. If you run out of treats during class....get your money out! Ain't nothing free at Good Dog school.) And for the puppies graduation today (I am so proud!) each pup received an official diploma with their name and a new toy and a bag of treats! We signed up for Puppy 2. A six week session at a reduced fee. This is how to run a training school! Go Rogue! Ten Arfs for this amazing school! Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf, Arf....And a big fat Woof!
