Overall, a lovely experience at Ramblewood. One of my communities organized an event here with over 700 people and the staff and venue was lovely. The pool was great and seem to be well-maintained. There were plentiful bathrooms and showers everywhere. The woods and grass fields were lovely. Something that stood out was the in-house food service. Feeding over 700 people 2 meals a day is not trivial and they did a great job. Food was always available on time (buffet style) and there were plenty of healthy options, including fruit, salad, and so on. The food team seemed to take pride in their work. Bathrooms: In good condition and functional. This is a campground with rustic cabins, so expectations are admittedly low, but they exceeded them. read more

I've been coming to Camp Rumblewood for ever 2011 wood. I love this place we have our festival the first weekend in September. SisterSpace Of The Delaware Valley. I recently found out that there are so many other festivals that take place there. It's built over the Underground Railroad. It's a very spiritual land. Harriet Tubmans house is on that land. There's so much to do there. There's never enough time to spend there. The first time I went I said I'm never going home. The air is fresh and the lake is amazing. You can follow a trail. Becareful of the baby bear that's why I'm staying in the Cabins. read more

Excellent place for an organizational event. Relaxing, convenient to transportation and most of all, secluded. Many of the events are clothing optional so it can lend itself to total relaxation. The cabins are Spartan, of varied sizes and shapes, but all with bathrooms and electric outlets. Summer time a fan is absolutely necessary. Food is... Well, as expected of a camp site. A bit institutional but appetizing. But plenty of it. Numerous activities to do; hiking, volley ball, running, and best of all, relaxing by the large pool. A definite: Bring a fan. I have been here many times over the decades, and no matter whether it's pagan or EDM I always have a good time!

If you have a large group of people (say 100-500) & you are looking for a LARGE location, with a VERY BIG backyard (160 acres) for a few days, this place is great. I organize a very large group of photographers & models. We have stayed here several times. True, it is not a modern hotel, but it offers very low prices, a BIG area to run around in, and privacy (which is important to us, since much of our photography & modeling is nude). It has a small, picturesque lake (which I would not swim in) & a VERY LARGE, well kept, swimming pool. It has a cafeteria-style dining hall which can seat a lot of people. The kitchen staff has always gone out of their way to accommodate people with totally unusual diets. The accommodations are in a series of cabins. The cabins are very basic, but they all have bathrooms with modern plumbing fixtures and showers with hot & cold running water. Unlike many places where I've stayed, the staff seems to understand that keeping their customers happy is part of their job. (I haven't attended any of them, but I'm told that they sometimes accommodate music festivals with thousands of people, & multiple stages.) They are closed during the winter. read more

My daughter's high school marching band has an annual five-day stay at Ramblewood for summer band camp, and I wanted to say what a nice place it is. The cabins are clean and comfortable, the landscaping nicely maintained. My daughter has celiac disease (must be gluten-free) and the dining staff took excellent care of her. She was very impressed with the variety and quality of the food prepared for her. All the employees I talked to were very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure the kids had a pleasant stay. The fact that the band has used this camp for years and years speaks to how beloved it is. read more

Better than ever. In spite of very large groups(PEX concert) and limited staff(unpredictable immigration issues with the wonderful summer students from Poland,Mexico and Venezuela-all gone. Ramblewood and their permanent staff continue to amaze. Great food unlimited drinks and seconds friendly permanent staff. Camp fires extra parking new roofing porch and bathroom facilities. I was here for the PEX Summer Festival and really enjoyed my stay here. The camp is really large and has plenty of things to do. Lots of fantastic hills and private areas. The pool is great. Awesome pool parties complete with floating toys. The only bad thing was the food at the dining hall. It was just BAD. I think the intentions were good, but the execution of those intention just left me feeling angry that I wasted my money on the meal plan. The bacon during breakfast were paper thin. They were more like bacon shavings. I didn't like that there was a "bacon Nazi" that limited my access to more than a couple of slices at a time. The potato slices during one of the dinners looked well-seasoned, but was undercooked. The mac n cheese (shell pasta and cheddar) looked promising, but was typical hospital fare. C'mon, people!!! The guy who heads the kitchen is supposed to be a trained chef!!! Because of the bad food, the camp lost a star. Thank goodness there were food trucks on the camp grounds. I'll just get my food from them next time I go. read more

Ramblewood is a place I have become privledged to think of over the years as a home away from home. Recent renovations have upgraded the setting delightfully.. now most cabins have large, well lit bathrooms, adult-sized showers with ample hot water, and brand new thick tempurpedic mattresses on sturdy frames! There are tons of facilitites here providing a huge range of activities, for sports, entertainment and relaxation. The owners are respectful, tolerant of the attitudes and beliefs of their campers, and delightfully welcoming! Camp staff is responsive and positive. The dining hall provides decent food, and some alternative dietary choices. It is institutional, at times, but this is a group camp... that's inevitable. I hope to keep returning to Ramblewood for years to come. read more

Since this is for group rentals only, and not a campsite for individuals, you may be eating what the Group organizers specified in their Contract. The organizers should confirm what menus will be served when, to make sure that they compliment each day's activities. For instance, the outdoor BBQ Lunch should be on the same day as the dress code is Western! Some Groups take a hands off approach and leave much to the Chef to plan, without regard to what the Group is doing. One Group contracted with the owner for a 10:00 p.m. Ice Cream Party at the indoor Basketball Court. The owner arranged for the grounds crew to transport the supplies from the freezers, as the kitchen staff had no need for transport vehicles (vendors deliver right to the kitchen door). The Chef, not knowing about this ahead of time, put Ice Cream Sundaes on the Supper menu that night! Camp Ramblewood can supply your Group with a wonderful experience, but you have to work with them. They are not a luxury 5 Star dining and lodging establishment, but you can have a very good 4 Star stay. read more
