We stayed in area 4, which was in the upper part of the campground away from the amenities. Our site (Q54), was only a short walk to the pool. Overall the sites were spacious and not as packed in with each other as found in other campgrounds.  Everyone we encountered at TG was very friendly and helpful. The amenities range from swimming pools(2 with slides) to an 18 hole disc golf course and everything in between. In the evenings the amusement area has an antique merry go round, inflatable slide/bounce house, train rides and miniature golf.  There is a BBQ restaurant on site and a fully stocked camp store. An ice cream parlor operated in the afternoon/evening serving soft serve, hand dipped, and sundaes. The huge portion for under $4 was very nice. The Swatara state Park is just down the road for hiking and biking. Overall a good place for a relaxing get-away.

There is no reasonable justification for this. At that point, they have more than enough time to rebook the site, so this "policy" comes across as nothing more than a cash grab. What makes this worse is that we--and many of our Jeep friends--have been staying here for over 6+ years. This is apparently how they choose to treat loyal, long-time customers. Great way to say thank you. To make matters worse, the manager, Cathy, was completely unwilling to work with us or show any flexibility. There was no attempt at understanding, no effort to resolve the situation--just a rigid, take-it-or-leave-it response. That level of customer service is incredibly disappointing. This experience made it very clear that customer loyalty means nothing here. We will never give this place our business again, and neither will the group of people we've brought with us over the years. If you're considering booking, be very careful--because even if you cancel months in advance, you may still be charged and met with zero willingness to resolve it.

All you here are tractor trailers and Jake brakes. Relaxing NOT!!!! The sites are so small and close that people next to us couldn't get in w/o help and trucks being moved. Ohhhhh there is no place to park your truck if you tow a camper. We have a 26' camper and the site was so built up and "cliff" type if we backed in where they wanted to our stabilizer jacket was hanging off the site! We had to pull forward three ft!

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was a lack of a dog park or even much grassy areas to walk the dogs. There are bad reviews for this place. However that shouldn't be the case. The campground has big…read moresites. The biggest I have been to yet. Each site has a picnic table, and a fire ring. I stayed during the fall to early winter. I can't speak for the pool, but this place is great. The office staff are nice. We were able to reserve sites ahead of time for a weeks rent. They have a place to refill propane, and electricity is free with your site payment. A lot of the sites have permanent residents. But they are nice and helpful. It's close to Lebanon PA, but off the road enough to enjoy camping. I would stay again.
