The sites were nice and large; believe they were $30 per night (i believe) - omg the restrooms were cleaned very frequently. Please note - i didn't see anywhere on site that sold wood so make sure load up before arriving. Bring your kayak as well - easy access to the dock and also lots of people fish near the early. Prices are good for sites, seasonal, and merchandise. Campground, bathrooms, splash pad, and beach were clean. Anytime I was walking, fellow campers in their golf carts offered rides. Very friendly seasonal community. We enjoyed our stay and will be frequent campers at this campground. Only three things I noticed that I would have liked. Mature trees on sites (no shade), seasonals next to bathrooms (all seasonal campers have bathrooms in their campers, unlike us and others in popups), and some shelves in the showers. We were all the way at the other end of the campground and it's a pretty long walk back to the store/pool. First of all we met a guy outside who said he was "just the guy on the golf cart" but he gave off very rude vibes. Like when we asked if we can park by the pool he said "we would especially like it if you parked at your campsite".. in a very rude way. The lady showed us where we can park though, so that was nice. He also made a big deal about me getting $100 cash back and acted like he had to charge me a ton, when it was only $3. Honestly if I based this place on his attitude alone I would not come back. I really hope he is not the owner. I bought like 6 slim Jim/cheese sticks and ate maybe 5 between everyone in my campsite and realized when I got home that they were expired!! So gross! Like why not check your expiration dates?? But the pool and showers were VERY NICE for a campground. They have some very cool activities on weekends. The river access is AMAZING and the river wasn't flowing fast so we were able to use an inflatable kayak and just go up and back down the river instead of parking a car somewhere else. The porta potty is super spidery and cobwebby so that was disappointing. They need to spend more time keeping them clean!! Mini golf looked nice but costs $3 a person. That's dumb to me since it's something we assumed came with the cost! Also, you have to pay a deposit on literally everything. $10 to be able get a key fob to get back in the locked gate after hours. I think that is ridiculous. And $2 just for the code to get in the pool. Why wouldn't they just leave it unlocked?? Very strange power dynamic at this campground. It feels like they think they own you while you are camping here. I felt like a child with parents watching over me. Also, the noise ordinance is NOT enforced. I didn't mind, but some with little babies in tents might. It is VERY LOUD in tents at night. This is an extremely crowded campground, small sites. Lots of traffic throughout the day because the pool and store is such a far walk. Bathrooms are a far walk from most sites Overall, I would come here again. It's very well kept and we didn't get very dirty at all!

Too cold for canoeing in mid October but we don't usually go out for that anyway. Some very distant traffic noise that is not a problem. A very big rug might be challenging for some but I parked my 41' RV with 22' trailer attached. I took advantage of the "pay for three nights and the fourth is free" deal which makes it a great value also. Stay up top near the office for the best experience. Some sites on the river are trashy and trailers look abandoned. We'll be back.

I honestly felt like I walked through a wardrobe into a Narnia world. The small sign at the drive was a bit tough to see, so as your map tells you you're close, slow down and look for the Bed and Breakfast sign. The vibe here is full on beautiful Pinterest, French countryside garden chateau. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful to see, from the outdoor pavilion to the stately rooms inside. The ivy covered buildings and gardens bursting with blooms are great backdrops for any photos. The wedding I attended was on a super hot, sunny June day, but there were plenty of amenities provided to guests to alleviate the heat: shade parasols, handheld electric fans, folding fans, and plenty of cold water. This was such a thoughtful touch and really helped make guests comfortable. The mansion in the background was a stunning view for the short but sweet ceremony. Once the ceremony concluded, we were greeted by staff members with water and wine and were directed to a courtyard for hors d'oeuvres and an outdoor bar. There were areas of shade from trees and umbrellas, which was a nice reprieve from the sun. The food was all perfectly arranged and the bacon wrapped date I had was a delicious sweet and savory bite! Molly and Jenn were pouring drinks with big smiles despite the heat. We were ushered into the main reception area -- a beautiful, airy, open pavilion -- by a tinkling dinner bell! Dinner was delicious and all staff members I interacted with were incredibly polite and professional. I was really blown away by the details and care put into this celebration at this amazing venue! It's a meaningful expense, so we were greatly assured by the good communication, prompt responsiveness and great care they took of us. The thoughtful touches were evident as we rented, a first aid kit on board, ample kitchen supplies and clear teaching about the unit when we took it out. The camper itself was gleaming and frankly better than we expected. We would highly recommend this company!

Told us we all have to go back to the beach and grab life jackets for everyone or get off the lake. We were out there swimming and some of us had life jackets. We eventually got out of the lake, found out the life jacket rule was made up so we would get out the lake so the can "test drive" there boat. The actual rules was "all boaters" need life jackets on the lake. Doesn't say anything about swimmers. Funniest part is they told us this and not everyone on the boat was wearing a life jackets . So I guess rules don't apply to them??? If you wanted us out of the lake then just say that. Don't make up rules to get your way.
