I'm not sure how much has changed over the years but it was easily one of the best weeks of my life. I learned archery, kayaking, canoeing & embossing. At the time, you could pay $5.00 and choose to make any craft that they had to offer; I still have a wooden dog I painted (if you press it's nose it plays music) and it was the first time I ever participated in a scavenger hunt. The camp grounds were always kept very clean, the staff was amazing and it was nice to see that the property is exactly as I left it. I attended a wedding here today & would recommend Camp Whitewood to anyone looking for an affordable & alternative wedding venue. Although our friends explained to us that you cannot have alcohol unless you rent all six buildings but this didn't ruin our evening. The building they choose had two bathrooms, a decent sized kitchen, a large stage & plenty of room for eating & dancing. Younger children might be bored as there isn't a playground; however, you can enjoy a fire pit or a stroll through the woods. All the buildings, with the exception of the cabins, are handicap accessible . There's also plenty of parking in a secluded area surrounded by nature. So weather you're considering hosting your next event here or having your children stay for a week or two; Camp Whitewood is the place to be!

This past summer, my 10-year-old daughter went to Falcon Camp for two weeks, and it ended up being…read moreone of the best experiences she's ever had. It was her first time being away from home for more than a night, so we were both a little nervous. She said she was homesick for one night and by the next morning she was busy riding horses, trying new things and making new friends! By the last day, she didn't want to leave. She actually cried because she had made such amazing memories and wanted to stay longer. As a parent, it was so heartwarming to see her gain confidence and independence while being surrounded by such amazing staff and a positive environment. Falcon Camp truly gave her a summer she'll never forget, and she's already planning on going back this year for the full summer. Best overnight camp ever!

Imagine our nerves and worries after the previous place. This never occurred at Family Life. The staff has been outstanding so far and the stages and assessments have been worry free, no actually, really rewarding. Communication has been good and we always feel welcome. Our little one talks about the teachers and friends continuously. Toddler classroom has been very rewarding!

We had to make a transition from another site and I was a little hesitant about the move but they did an awesome job in making sure the kids would adjust fine by keeping them with some kids and teachers they were with previously. Everyone I've encountered thus far has been polite and friendly. The teachers in my sons classroom are understanding, helpful, nurturing and inviting. I am very PLEASED with the work they do at the center.
