When I got there this morning I told them there was no toilet paper. After I worked out and went back into the locker room there is a poor guy stuck in the stall yelling for help... Still no toilet paper. There is no trash can in the bathroom/locker room, the showers are almost always out of soap, and worst of all the flower area is disgusting. I have no idea how often it gets cleaned, but it is apparent the answer is rarely. I have mentioned all these things to staff multiple times and only get a shoulder shrug or an excuse. Why do I go there you ask? Fair question. In two weeks I am moving and will no longer attend Vasa. I just haven't wanted to go through a new initiation with a different gym when I knew I was moving. So I received a membership here for Xmas, per my request (and a little begging), and I finally went…read moretoday!! I knew it was going to be an adjustment since I haven't been to a gym in 9 or so years (remember lifetime fitness?). I was worried I wouldn't know how to use the equipment and I would just look silly! That wasn't the case (well maybe I still looked silly but no one cared!). Any questions I had were answered beyond expectation! The gym is very clean, up to date, the equipment is friendly to use, towels are provided (cold ones too, which are amazing after breaking a sweat!!). I used my free consultation with Justin and he was wonderful! He pushed me even when I wanted to tap out! I know it was totally worth it and having someone to push you when you want to quit definitely helps! I look forward to going again tomorrow!! The only downside is the tanning bed is slightly out of date, but in all honesty it's unlimited for only and extra $10 a month. It's still well worth it!
