The dentist came in and drilled the holes and then left the hygienist to glue/fill them. This girl had a lot of trouble and took a very long time. The dentist was no where to be found. When trying to get the metal holders out, she kept yanking and getting tired and stopping. I actually got a headache and almost felt like asking her if she could get some help. Finally, she got them out and finished up. Both of the insides of these teeth now are bumpy from glue, not smooth like they used to be. When I called, I was told that it would wear off with brushing. I got a call later saying that they no longer accepted my insurance (I'm on Medicare, so who cares about old people?) I told them I would find another dentist and asked them to remove me from any messaging. Last week, I received a letter saying they are charging me $50. because I no-showed. WHAT???

I wanted to re-verify that information and the technician took me back to talk to the women at the front desk. They, again, verified that I definitely would not be charged. But, later, after the x-ray and the cleaning, A RECEIPT WAS SHOVED UNDER MY NOSE AND I WAS BILLED A FEE (I have insurance). So, it was simply lies atop another lie from the time that I walked in the door. Their office manager was rude when I later called to discuss the bill. She obviously had a problem admitting the LIE. I might have casually accepted the "fee" but I cannot accept LIES. I WILL NOT RETURN HERE AND I CAUTION YOU TO FIND A DIFFERENT PROVIDER.

You know it is hard enough dealing with daily life to start with but for me in general I have mental health and physical health issues which complicate it even more so then when I need care I need for the "professionals" to "hear" ME. Sure they acknowledge that you are speaking to them but they do not "hear" you as they have already formed their own opinion and will treat you the way they want not the way you need. I had the local guy yank it out ended up paying out of pocket for it though and that was the only reason I went somewhere else to start with as I did not want to have to pay out of pocket. This experience left a very unpleasant memory that I am still trying to process and heal from on the mental health level. I need to find a family dentist but am absolutely terrified that the one I pick wont hear me like the dentist as Carlisle Pike Family Dentistry chose not to HEAR me and meet my needs per my request. It's so sad because like i stated they got me in quickly, the place itself was clean, the atmosphere was calming but I was not heard. Had I been I most likely would still be using them.

I had called when scheduling my appointment that I needed to be done by 4:10 PM, to make it for an appointment after. After being taken back 15 minutes late then my appointment time, that I arrived 10 minutes early to I finally finished at 4:50 PM. My barber appointment was scheduled for 4:30 pm, so I missed that. Sauve does good dental work, but is way too overbooked. He is constantly switches to different patients which leaves many patients waiting. Ontop of this, I had a 125$ bill, in which I tried to use my health savings card on, but the front desk lady insisted that that would not work . Six months ago, i scheduled an appointment for December 28, which their manager canceled on December 27 when i called to confirrm the time. Their reason????? I was told that "i owed too much money" However on November 18, i was told a different story by the "manager" . i was told that my December payment would have to be "substantial" to retain services. I complied and sent them 150.00 on December 18th or 40 percent of the total owned to them and they responded by canceled my appointment after i had flown 8 hours from Portland Oregon to make this appointment. Its obvious that manager lied to me and cannot be trusted. Do not waste your time and money with them!!!!.

Camp Hill, PA is the land of dentists, or so I've heard…read more I generally dislike visiting the dentist because I am afraid of the crevasses in my mouth. I have difficulty finding a compassionate pro to heal my wonky grill. All I ask is a thorough assessment and reasonable course of action. I was spending my (1st) Christmas with my boyfriend's family, when a horrible toothache sabotaged the holiday. Topical anesthetic and ibuprofen didn't cut it and by Christmas day, I couldn't stand the blinding pain extending from my jaw to frontal lobe. Sobbing quietly in a bedroom does not make for holiday fun. For anyone. My boyfriend's mother took action and contacted the family dentists. Dr. Panas and Dr. Shedlosky (and team) are lifesavers. They saw me at 9:30 the next morning. After a brief consultation and X-ray, Dr. Shedlosky identified the problem and solution. I needed a root canal. Fortunately, Dr. Panas was available to perform it later that afternoon. That night, as I entered codeine dreams, I was thankful for the capable team that ended my pain. I healed quickly. My follow-up went well and Dr. Panas was insistent on setting the right bite. The best dentists in the land are in Camp Hill, and well worth the trip. Thank YOU!
