My husband came home from work (construction worker) and wanted to take a shower. He walked down to find the men's shower room locked with boys/men saying they'll be finished in 5 as if they were the only one allowed to use the 3 stall shower house. There were only 2 guys in there. My husband went to talk to the workers in the bait house who told him the first time the doors shouldn't be locked and they'd go talk to them and added if it were someone's girls they should be using the women's shower. My husband waited an hour to go again for a shower, walked over again to find the doors locked. This time it was a dad and his daughter. Now I get you don't want anything to happen to your child but the problem is instead of nicely explaining to my husband his young daughter was in the men's shower showering guy decided to come out after my husband knocked and get in my husband's face and be aggressive as if my husband was wrong for wanting a shower and not knowing his younger daughter was in there. So my husband again goes to the bait house and as he's explain the situation the guy comes rushing in with his short buddy getting in my husband's face and getting loud. All the workers just stood there. My husband asked in front of the guy again if the doors were supposed to be locked and this time they said no but we make exceptions for him. As my husband realizes no one was going to say anything to the guy he told them he's coming to the rv and calling the cops and would like to speak to the owners this morning. It wasn't until then they told my husband he had his young daughter in there. Guy calls my husband a pussy and asks him to fight in the field when my husband didn't back down the guy turned around to the workers and said you see he's the aggressor. The owners came this morning to tell my husband if he didn't apologize we'd have to leave. Well guess what we left because we aren't apologizing for something that 1 was caught on camera and 2 for something we didn't instigate... not to forget all the drug activity I've seen since being here for the last 12 days. Mind you no one told my husband the guy was in there with his young daughter until my husband asked to speak with the owners this morning. How was he supposed to know he had his daughter in there? That's why we decided instead of apologizing to the guy who was 100 percent the aggressor we left. If he would had told my husband his young daughter was in there taking a shower my husband would have waited and went back a 3rd time but guy just comes out getting in my husband's face and being aggressive talking about you don't need to bang on the door obviously SOMEONE'S taking a shower. If he would have said it was his young daughter and not SOMEONE it would have been fine but that's not how it went. And im sure all the workers told the owners a story that made the guy look better in the situation instead of the Truth. But no instead they took his side and said if he didn't apologize we'd have to leave. Honestly after being there for 12 days and witnessing all the illegal activity, So much so Hamilton township patrols through every other day, not somewhere anyone would like to stay unless they're caught up in the shit. That being said they are all nice and everything if you are just fishing there but if you are camping there expect issues

We got a great pull through site right next to the pools. The pools were wonderful, very clean with a nice large kid pool and a separate pool with food/drink at the 21 and over pool. Bath/shower houses were immaculate and in good condition. One shower is larger than others, wish they would add a handicap sign on that one to encourage that people with mobility issues get first priority. There is room for a stool or bench in there to make dressing easier. Site was pretty level and everything worked great. We have a sticker on our camper that says WE ALWAYS LEAVE THE CAMPSITE CLEANER THAN WE FOUND IT. That wasn't possible here as it was totally clean when we arrived. We made sure it was when we left I enjoyed a day at the pool while the family used the discounted KI tickets. Great stay!

I decided to hike the Gorge Trail, which was very do-able, and ambitiously hoped to even follow the trail around the lake. Oooooops... There is NO LAKE, for the moment, anyway, as they've emptied it for maintenance (!!) Wasn't able to hike around the (dry) lake, as I think that trail was closed, but no worries, I headed back on the Gorge Trail (took a zillion pictures along the way, it's GORGEous!!) and made it back just in time to attend the Hispanic Festival taking place right outside the visitor's center. Looks like there's LOTS of community activities offered here, and it's a GREAT area resource!! Beautiful scenery, some waterfalls apparently, once the rain returns, picnic areas and multiple fun playgrounds for the kiddies, nicely marked trails, TONS of community events, and so much more!! At Camp Craig, five campsite are available for Scouts BSA affiliated programs to reserve. Outhouse is available. Murdock's are available for clean/ drinkable water. Shower facilities are available at the pool. The pool is only available June to September. Cub World also utilizes the pool during summer camp. One of my son's has camped here. While he wasn't thrilled about using an outhouse, he did enjoy camping at Camp Craig. It is usually less busy than Camp Friedlander. I have walked around the camp a bit. Foliage is lush during the summer. There is truly the feeling of beging out in nature. For groups who are looking to be surrounded by nature, but need a meeting style facility, a program building is available. That building is air conditioned. It also has a kitchen, internet, and AV hookups. This building is utilized more for adult training than for youth.

I would never consider sending my kids to this camp alone.

Are you looking for fun and safe activity to do with friends or family while staying socially…read moredistanced from others? This is an awesome activity that checks all of the boxes! We visited Morgan's yesterday for the second time this summer. It's a great meeting spot for friends that live in Cincinnati and Indianapolis. Our first visit was on a Thursday and the second was on a Sunday. There was a big difference in the amount of people when going during the week versus the weekend. I would highly suggest a weekday visit if you would prefer less people. After a brief safety talk, you grab a life vest, paddle, and boat and you are off! We did kayaking on both of our visits, but saw a lot of people out on canoes and rafts. It is about a 7 mile trip and both times it took us about 3 hours doing a relaxing trip down the river with minimal paddling and a lot of floating. We packed a picnic lunch and pulled our kayaks out on a shady spot and ate lunch. This is not a technically different kayaking route. There are a few sections that are rocky, have some tiny rapids, or tree roots that you need to navigate, but all in all, it is a beginner level trip perfect for the novice and fun for all. The equipment is good, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The price is also good for a budget activity ~$30 per person! Let's talk about COVID-19 precautions: Morgan's takes this seriously! They are by reservation only and have designated checkin times. For our weekend checkin when it was busy, a man greeted us when walked up and directed us to an empty table to fill out our group's waiver. Once done, we took to a table with one staff member to checkin. All of this was outside. During the week, this was done in the building, but we were the only group. There are social distance markers on the ground, limit to 3 people per the changing room/restroom, social distance on the bus to bring you back, and all staff wore masks. Thank you for keeping us safe!
