The two ladies at the front desk who checked us in were incredibly friendly, took the time to chat with us, and made us feel more like guests than just another reservation. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered--from the daytime team to the nighttime staff--was professional, kind, and genuinely helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with beds that made it easy to relax after a long day. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, making it a great place to unwind. We also loved the amenities, including the large pool, hot tub, and sauna. A special shout-out to Chase at the front desk. He truly went above and beyond when we wanted to extend our stay. Even though the lodge was nearly booked, he worked hard to find a solution and helped us secure a second night. That level of customer service is rare and very much appreciated. What stood out most about our stay wasn't just the beautiful property--it was the people. Every member of the team made us feel welcomed and valued. I asked for an accessible room thinking it would be better and none was available on a Monday night believe it or not! The bathroom sink was clogged and there is no water pressure to have a decent shower. The food in the Kasu Cafe is pretty good and the staff is all really nice. The buffet is only open Thursday night so your food choices are pretty limited. Their giveaways are kind of a joke and the payout is not very good out of the machines.

Packed on Valentine's Day before our shows, so it's clear it's more than just a hotel bar that residents frequent. Lincoln doesn't have too many stops for craft cocktails, so this is a nice find. My first selection was a whiskey-based with smoked rosemary rim. My husband got something with absthinhe in it. Our other friend ordered what looked like a drink version of an orange cream pie. So fun and the ambiance can't be beat. Drinks typical range 15-20 for fancy cocktails.

The bathroom sink is weirdly tiny, but overall the room was fine. Except for the noise. So much noise! All night long! We were facing 11th street and we were staying over a weekend. You could hear cars all night. And ambulance one night at 2 am. And if that noise wasn't enough, they were hosting something in what I guess is there convention area? And that noise went on until midnight. Insanely loud music that we at first thought was coming from someplace across the street. But nope. It was coming from a few doors down. I so wanted to love this place but we will not be staying here again. A good night's sleep is too important to us. I really feel that better quality windows would make a world of difference.

My concern is with the customer service I…read moreexperienced when calling the hotel to arrange payment for one of our employees who was staying for an entire week. I called from our engineering firm's office number and, when the front desk answered, I simply introduced myself and stated the company I was calling from. Before I could even explain the reason for my call, the employee hung up on me, apparently assuming I was a robocaller. When I immediately tried calling back, I discovered that our office number had been blocked or marked as a robocall number. I then had to use my personal cell phone to call the hotel just to get through and explain that I was calling on behalf of a legitimate business to PAY for our employee's week-long stay. What was most frustrating was that this entire situation could have been avoided by simply taking a few seconds to listen before making an assumption and disconnecting the call. As a company arranging and paying for employee travel, we expect to be able to contact a hotel without having our business number blocked before we're even given the opportunity to explain why we're calling. Again, this is not a complaint about the stay itself. It is about the way a legitimate customer and business call was handled by the front desk. A little more patience and professionalism would have made a significant difference.

We were pleasantly pleased and impressed! Dreamy Victorian/country decor and design. It's spacious and has a neat history! -Interesting use of closets to create bathrooms too! Lynne made us feel at home. She welcomed us at the door upon arrival, gave us a tour, we visited a little, then she gave us our privacy to enjoy. We had a loosely-planned schedule that took us to Ida Grove for wine tasting, a terrific meal, sight seeing and some hiking.  In the evening, we made a point to spend time on the porch at the B&B to sip some wine in some pleasant June weather. It was relaxing! Lynne, knowing these plans from our conversation upon arrival, was so thoughtful and left out two wine glasses along with a corkscrew to open our bottle of wine that evening. Breakfast on Sunday morning was delicious and delightful at a table next to paned windows overlooking the side yard.  We couldn't have been happier! We now have an amazing memory that we will share and tell for years to come! We think the price was very affordable! In fact, we plan to come back in the fall. This year they even packed us a goodie bag for the flight home. Homemade rhubarb muffins...yum! For the area it is a little pricy but well worth the money for me.
