The room itself has signs of age, but wasn't too bad. Our room had a small TV mounted on the wall. The bathroom too was showing it's age. The bed was good and the room was clean. Nice desk staff. There's not much around the location...I think there was a convenient store next door. I booked Thursday thru Sunday and brought my 26 year old son along for the trip. Everything about our stay was perfect! the lodge and our cabin was clean, welcoming and comfortable. The food was excellent, and our fishing guide Chad was incredible. We caught dozens of fish over two days, and when coming back to the lodge at the end of the day we were welcomed by Cary and David with a cold drink and a great dinner. Cary and David provide guests with everything they need, and no detail is overlooked. I highly recommend the Bighorn Riverview Lodge and Cabins, it was perfect, and can't wait to go back!

We happened upon the Sundowner and we were able to get a room. It was exactly what we needed, when we needed it. Today I received a small package from the Sundowner. Whilst packing up and getting ready to hit the road again I had missed my sleep mask! The owners sent my mask to me. If that's not customer service, I don't know what is. Even if you get stuck with a smoking room (as we did because of no advance reservation) they have installed plug-in air fresheners in all the smoking rooms. The room we had was acceptable for smell. The only drawback to me was the limited scope of the continental breakfast; toast, muffins, bagels, cereal, and freezer waffles. I like my protein in the morning, and not many hotels offer that. We paid $80 for a double queen. If you want a room with two recliner chairs, a big TV and one large bed, they have that too (we peeked a look while the maid was cleaning it), for $100.
