The road is in rough condition. Public areas while generous are in the same run down-shape. Even the floaters at the beach are sinking. The cabin was dirty, I cannot believe any staff had been thru the property. Blinds broken as were chair and screen on the porch. Nasty rag sitting on toilet. Then there was a civilian truck being worked on in the equipment garage?? Misappropriation? Researching on line initially one site said the property was closed until 4/1. I could go on...to what point? Believe that chain of command shown on the office wall needs to make a visit!!

Just got back from an excellent 3.5 day retreat at Butter and Egg Adventures…read more My husband and I brought 25 students, plus our two kids down to Troy. While the website was impressive, we had no idea the treat we were in for! The staff is warm and welcoming. The camp is family run, and it is obvious that the rest of the staff are included in that warmth. Our students had a blast on the zip lines and ropes courses, and grew together as a group through the facilitated team building activities. As a director of Residential Life it was incredibly heart warming watching the students open up to each other and work together in a new way. Honestly, I really can't say enough good things. Even though my husband and I were the only chaperones of 25 teens (with our two kids), we felt relaxed the entire time. Because of the staff's collaboration with us, we knew the students were taken care of. It made the entire adventure a relaxing experience - which, believe me, is a huge feat. While there were threats of a storm (which never happened) we felt perfectly safe with the camp's procedures. Any of our group's random complications were handled with grace and support. You can really tell the thought and care that Susan, Ron, Natalie, and the rest of the crew put into the entire experience. Loves going to camp so I put her in for 2 weeks this 2023 summer. Great fun and memories to be made. She takes swimming lessons each summer session $50 add on. She enjoys the art singing chants and friends she makes. TAKE A BAG WITH CRAYONS MARKERS COLRING BOOKS for their down time I didn't know that and mine had nothing while other girls laid on bunk coloring she was said about that. We got served juicy chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, green beans, casserole, dinner rolls, and chocolate chip cookies. They also had a salad bar on the side. The lake is nice and calm. They have paddle boarding , canoeing, and the blob in the water. They also have a pool and basketball courts. The cabins are okay. It's pretty hot and humid on a September day, so make sure to turn the AC down. I wiped down the mattress with a Clorox wipe and it turned from white to brown. Pretty good place for a retreat. Not a good place for a neat freak.

We've been attending twice a week for about a month now and I cannot say enough about how much we love it here! Although this is a non competitive environment, my kids are excelling in their skills and gaining so much confidence in their abilities that they're willing to try new things. The employees build their trust by having fun with the kids and learning their personal styles. My children learn and participate at very different paces and each has improved their gymnastics abilities since attending. They are also more outgoing and less timid. The friendly and helpful staff make learning and fitness so fun that the kids think they're just playing! I highly recommend bringing your kids here!!

It was like night and day compared to the on base class. My Gym has lots of baby exercise equipment and structures. It's clean. There's fun music. Lots of opportunities to learn an exercise skill, but it is play driven - which is much better for development. The teachers are professional. The only thing I would improve on is the schedule. It is a bit limiting. Otherwise, I absolutely love it thus far!
