The bathrooms are VERY clean, and there are drinking fountains. There was a concession stand open for spectators of the tournament. The room that we had the party had five tables and chairs, netting across the room and sports equipment for the kids to play with. This seemed like an easy place to host a party. We didn't participate in the sports side.

But this wasn't my main issue of course it play a big part but the issue was the lady working was probably one of the rudest people I have ever met just because of her alone I will never recommend anyone to go to this place or to ever spend another dime there again. There was zero reason for her to be so rude and disrespectful when all we was trying to figure out was what happen and why her party wasn't when it was confirmed to be at.

Overall the staff was friendly and they didnt interfere with the guests too much unless they needed something. They played a few games with the kids, the hokey pokey and the limbo, which was fun watching the kids play! Owner of property claimed there's nothing that can be done about the mud, despite having other pastures available or at the very least being able to rotate hay/water to a new location in the same pasture. I removed my own horses yesterday due to conditions and resulting injury, but saw the same health impact on other horses kept in the same large pasture: severe mud fever (open sores, swollen legs, violent trembling, severe lameness), resulting in inability to access the only water that was not frozen over and hay pile kept in one deep-mud location. I discovered that my horses were dehydrated and starving, and at least one will now have to receive critical vet care for recovery. The manager/caregivers allegedly provides hay/grain/water twice daily; at a minimum, their neglect to respond to the obvious distress of the horses calls into question the providing of this basic daily care. Despite obvious suffering and injury, I was not notified, which means either they failed to notice (!) or they don't care (!!)

The RecPlex is located across town, which is inconvenient. You can't take back to back classes at the Y and RecPlex because they are a 15 min drive apart. They do not offer towel service, which compared to other Y's I've been a member of, surprises me. In fact, they charge $2 to use one of their towels. With a family membership being around $900 a year, they could help out with towels. But this is a small price to pay for the other things they do offer.

We have been members of the Fox YMCA for over eight years. We have paid our membership every year,…read morebut have had two,or three year spells where we merely paid for the luxury of simply having the membership. I believe most YMCA's along with other excercise facilities make a large portion of their earnings selling memberships that are rarely used. Our experience at Fox YMCA have been okay for the most part. Front desk staff are challenged to provide accurate information concerning LYST Swim Team information. Communication between the two is lacking at times. Communication between Parent Board about its policies and procedures is lacking as well. The Fox YMCA is privately owned, they do not accept other YMCA membership cards and the Fox YMCA membership is not accepted at other YMCA locations. I recently terminated my membership because I feel the LYST swim team Parent Board has forgotten has forgotten the four core values the YMCA is supposed to employ in everyday practices. The Fox YMCA either cannot or won't require the LYST Parent Board and LYST Swim Team to ensure their policies and practices include Honesty, Dignity, Caring, and Respect. The LYST Parent Board apparently fails to remember that there are families with different incomes, structures, employment requirements, multiple children playing multiple sports or other extra curricular activities that require parent attendance. $150 dollars in fines for not volunteering was stiff during the Summer 2018 swim season. The 2018-19 swim season brought about an increase in fines to families who do not volunteer. The per credit fine for regular 3 credit season requirement increased to $75 per unfulfilled credit. The 2018-19 season requires parents/guardians to agree to these increased fines in addition to agreeing volunteer an additional two volunteer credits for two LYST hosted invitationals, one in November and one in March. Failure to volunteer for either of these events will result in a fine of $125 for each event. Families that do not volunteer any of the five required volunteer credits will be fined a total of $475. I realize volunteers reduce costs and enable organizations to save money, but there is no other sports organization anywhere in this area that charges such hefty fines with no regard towards the families they are automatically charging these fees. It is equally disappointing that a YMCA allows such practices to take place regardless if they are a privately owned YMCA.

Leith Run Campground Absolutely the worst camping experience…read morewe've ever had. We booked a riverfront site months in advance, but the host gave it away to someone else. Even though she was responsive, that should never have happened. The people occupying our site were rude and refused to leave despite us showing our confirmation--resolving that mess took two exhausting hours. The toilet was disgusting, clearly hadn't been cleaned in ages. We had to hold it all night and left first thing in the morning. Other sites might be better, but Leith Run was a nightmare. Never again.

I am no longer a…read moremember for several reasons. 1) All the classes I joined to take were cancelled. 2) Several of the classes that looked interesting were always full. 3) $80/month for a fitness facility and swimming pool was not worth the price. 4) My personal trainer left and I couldn't connect with any of the others. 5) They started charging for stupid things. (Ex. A women's or men's fitness center "card" was $5-for the first card. I can see charging me if I lost one, but come on! At $80 a month the first one should be included. 6) Rudeness. The workers became downright rude at times. That $5 fee I mentioned above...I watched a worker pocket my $5. 7) Planet Fitness opened. For a fraction of the cost I get a lot of the same stuff, minus a pool. Maybe I'll try them again in the future when my daughter is older.

My youngest has gotten phenomenal attention during his swim lessons and will be ready for the swim team by summer at the age of 5. My oldest made the swim team at the age of 5 because of their hard work and dedication to our kids, our family and the community. I can't say enough wonderful things.
