The Minnesoda was a totally original historical gem to the Park Rapids area and no longer exists because of thoughtless shameful owners. This was no minor change as Trip Advisor and Yelp try to claim. Look at the old pictures from just 4 years ago. DESTROYED the original fountain. They could have opened a NEW shop anywhere else in town but the new owners and the city decided to delete the history of Park Rapids. How sad and heartbreaking. They should have taken pride in preservation. SHAMEFUL!!!

The tempting aroma of baking cones wafts out to lure you inside. Once there, you'll find many different flavors. The eternal question: what to order? As if by magic, the person behind the counter tells me: "you can get a 3 scoop sampler for $4.25". Woo Hoo! That worked for me:) I tried a key lime, mint chocolate chip, and some other flavor (it was so darn good that I blanked out - what was that third flavor???). The takeaway is that you cannot go wrong here. Super friendly staff, a small seating area, clean bathrooms, and the chance to get samples of any flavor, and then get a sampler of 3 flavors.
