This place was so busy and we thought it would be a sure hit. Well it was hit and miss. They did some things well and others weren't so great. I've always heard that food isn't that great in Paris and now I believe it . The space in this restaurant is super tight. They cram you into small confined spaces and when other patrons arrive, you are literally trapped in your spot. There was a dog sitting on a bar stool dining with the owner. Very cute and wish they would allow dogs in restaurants in my home country. We ordered drinks to start. They were strong but who's complaining? The octopus was actually quite good. This is the only dish that I thought was worth mentioning. The steak was ok but not outstanding. For those prices, I would expect a lot better. The worst dish was the ceviche. The grapefruit ruined the taste and made it bitter. Just make ceviche the normal way. Some seasoning would have been nice as it was also tasteless and bland. The empanadas were actually decent too. The asparagus dish was over priced for three pieces of asparagus. Anyway I think we will just eat in since we have a kitchenette with our accommodations . I don't mind spending if it's good but I refuse to pay top dollar for mediocre. read more
