I have used this florist many times over the years, most recently when I needed arrangements for my mom's Celebration of Life reception at my home. I was very specific about the colors of flowers, ribbons and the height of the arrangements and they were even more lovely than I had imagined. I have had several bad experiences with ordering flowers via FTD, 1-800-flowers and Costco. I now only trust my floral orders to this local business. Ordered online as a birthday gift on Wednesday set set up for delivery date for the following week on Thursday they ended up bringing them the next day a week early. My friend moved a few years ago to Green Valley AZ from the Portland Oregon area. He was having a significant birthday and party on the same day that his beloved Oregon Duck football team was playing. My husband and I were not able to get down there for the festivities so I went to the Duck store and bought a bunch of Duck trinkets and sent them to Vanessa at Camilot Florists to put in a yellow and green arrangement for Jim. I called last Friday and requested their succulent garden arrangement. I was told it was not available I would have to wait until Monday. So I asked could they substitute some of the succulents and the guy said hold on he came back and he said yes we can. He proceeded to take my money and information and then I said so when can I pick it up? He said between 10 and 11:00 AM. I said on what day? He said Monday. I was a little confused but here I am new to Green Valley and things aren't like the bay area. So Monday I called to confirm the arrangement is ready. I drive over there and park and go to the door and somebody comes out of the door with an arangement. I thought it was a customer. She walks by me doesn't look at me or acknowledge me or anything. So I open the door and I look halfway through the building and someone yells to me just stay right there someone will be with you. So I waited and the same person that exited the shop came back to the door and said can I help you? And I said I'm here to pick up an arrangement. She said you ordered the succulent garden? I said yes that's me. She said wait here. Then someone came to the door and said what can I do for you? I said oh I think somebody is already helping me. So she abruptly just walks away. Then I hear them talking and one of them is saying, I just asked her what she was here for and didn't hear the other side of the conversation. So out appears a person hands me the arrangement which is succulents in dirt in a bowl. I take it to my car and there's dirt all around the outside of it. So I place it in my car on top of a blanket that was already there so it would not move around. (Normally if it was delivered you would be handed an arrangement with a box around it to hold it steady). I get home and went to lift the arrangement out of the car and the dirt is falling out and the little pebbles on top fell down between my car seats. I'm thinking what the F is this? This is a $75 arrangement! So I put it in a cardboard lid from an old box and put it on my lap to deliver to the person it was intended for. I called the florist and said I would like to speak to a manager and I was told I am the owner what do you want? I said I just picked up a $75 arrangement and she said yes I know who you are. And I told her that it was dry and the plants were just stuffed in they weren't even below the rim of the pot. She said look, you don't know anything about succulents. I am sorry ma'am but succulents don't need to be down in the dirt because they don't have roots. So now she's going to school me on something that I am very aware of. I said I understand that, but why didn't you put it in a bigger bowl so that the dirt wasn't falling out and the plants were sitting above the rim of the bowl? She was like look lady I am sorry you were not happy. She said I put the arrangement together on Saturday and you don't need to water it for three or four days. Let it settle down. At that point I said this was a gift I was delivering to someone's home and I paid $75 for it. And I am handing them an arrangement for the passing of her father and now I am trying to explain myself out of why it looks like a piece of crap! Now, The incompetent kid on the phone told me I would not get it until Monday. Apparently they did substitute the plants and I got some half assed arrangement for $75 and was never told that it was ready on Saturday to pick up. I really wanted to deliver it on Friday and he never mentioned that because he substituted the plants I could pick it up on Saturday. Didn't look like anybody inside that shop was happy or enjoyed working in a florist shop. Never have experienced something like this before. I said I was from the bay area I am used to rude people and expensive prices, this is the first I have experienced this kind of bad customer service here in AZ. On May 25th, I got married at the beautiful Agua Linda Farm. Two weeks before my wedding day my florist quit in a fit of unprofessionalism...terror slowly crept over me. I was fourteen days out from my wedding and I had no flowers. No flowers. Luckily, I have a close family friend who is a florist in Michigan and she quickly came to my flower planning rescue. Still, there was a problem - how could we get the flowers ordered in and kept fresh until we could put them together? I am from Phoenix (a two and a half hour drive) and so we needed to find a place that would allow us to have our flowers delivered and kept cool until we arrived. Enter: Camilot Flowers. My friend contacted Camilot and made our desperate plea. We didn't have high hopes because essentially we were asking to just use fridge space without buying any flowers from this particular florist. This was a big request. Luckily for us (me especially!) the owners of Camilot are two of the most kind and generous people you could ever meet. Not only did they let us have the flowers delivered and use their fridge, but they let us prep the flowers there and even gave us a few extra roses of their own to help spiffy up our arrangements. I did not use Camilot Flowers as my florist, but I have seen their shop, seen their flowers, and experienced their overwhelming kindness. These are good people who are willing to go the extra mile - even when they don't have too. I can't recommend them strongly enough to any person looking to send flowers or to order flowers for their wedding in the Green Valley or Tubac area. It is too rare in this world, and especially in the wedding business, that you meet people who are truly kind and desire to help, but Camilot Flowers is made up of exactly those type of people. Rip off for quality arrangements and online order charges. I have ordered flower arrangements over teleflora or ftd (can't remember which) for family members in Green Valley. Camilot sent sprays of lilies that were not even partially open (and never did open), and created arrangements that looked like cheap imitations of what I ordered online---I ordered the deluxe version and felt like I got less than the standard version. I used to work at a florist, so I know arrangements must be adjusted to provide the best flowers, but they did a poor job. Now to the rip off part: normally there is a "wire fee" if you order off is ftd or teleflora that is usually around 15$ which includes the "wire" and delivery fee--they charge this because then coordinate which florist in the area to use (they have contracts with local florists). Now, if you go to Camilot's website and try to order online DIRECTLY from them, you STILL get charged the wire fee of $7.50 (with the reasonable delivery fee of $7.50). Come ON, Camilot, that's ridiculous! You aren't wiring anything over the teleflora or ftd---why are you charging this fee? Order anything else over the internet and you don't get charged a wire fee. Order multiple arrangements and you get charged the wire fee for each. The example: 2014 pricing fyi... Ordering a "make a wish" bouquet off of teleflora's website is 32.95 for a standard bouquet, 14.99 service fee and no tax, bringing the total to 47.94$. Order direct from Camilot, they charge 34.95 for the bouquet, 7.50 wire fee, 7.50 delivery plus 2.13 tax (can't help that) making the total 52.08$. I've ordered flowers direct from florist websites in CT, WY and DC and NO ONE charges this extra fee. Very disappointed in the quality and business practices of Camilot flowers. read more

I went to the store to order a flower bouquet for my son's Celebration of Life service. Carmen took my order. I requested purple flowers being my son's favorite color. She assured me the bouquet would be very pretty. She called me next day to tell me she had received purple roses. The bouquet was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Everyone commented about it. We lost our mother on Feb. 1, 2018. I ordered a casket spray for her service on Feb. 7, 2018. My mother was a resident of GV for 48 years, she was a business woman and had many friends. I made it very clear when ordering the spray that I wanted a very full white spray. I used one of their own pictures and said to make it fuller, offered more than the $299. I had already paid. Added 10 red roses to represent my mothers children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. When I drove down from Flagstaff the week before her service I went in and reiterated what I wanted and was reassured that it would be perfect. The flowers spray was so pathetic that I actually took a picture at the gravesite! The red roses were hardly noticeable for all the greenery! When I called Mary she said that a Hurricane had wiped out a lot of the crops (seriously)and that valentines day had depleted their stock! This is my Mother's funeral we are talking about. Mary was to call me back in an hour, it's been 5 and I still haven't heard from her. Don't waste your money here folks, especially for someone as important as your mother. read more

I ordered my wife one of their most expensive arrangements for valentines and payed extra to have them delivered at noon exactly due to her busy schedule as a nurse. They never arrived when I called to see what happened the owner was very rude and said she cant get them out on time after all and said she could have them delivered Tuesday, completely defeating the purpose of Valentines day! She proceeded to tell me that she has hundreds of other customers to worry about and she couldn't be bothered with me right now. She offered to send them to our house then after we gave our address she quickly said NO it was too far as if we were the inconvenience even though we paid extra and were promised to have them delivered at noon. They overpromised and completely underdelivered. No apology was given or sympathy at all for the fact that they failed to meet the expectations set by themselves. Unprofessional, unethical, overpriced; and these are their best qualities, need I say more. I would give no star if possible. If you wanna ruin someone's day then this is a great shop to use but for someone important in your life I would not recommend. read more

Our son ordered flowers for Mother's Day. They said we lived too far away for Sunday delivery but would deliver on Thursday - It took four days to recover??? They called in the morning and I gave turn-by-turn directions, even though our address is on Google Maps. Also confirmed the gate code (we are in a gated community). Late in the afternoon when the flowers had no shown up, I called. The very rude person on the phone claiming to be the owner said the driver left them by the gate - 4 miles from the house. She also said they would never deliver to us again. I went to the gate and did not find the flowers so I went home assuming the driver did not actually deliver or someone else took them. I called again and was told they were under a tree behind a rock. They also said I should not complain because they had done what they were supposed to (dumping the flowers 4 miles from my house). The flowers were ok but the customer DISSERVICE is horrible. If they don't want to drive to where I live, they should not take the order. read more

We choose flowers for her mass and they were so kind to let us add some special flowers that remind us of our Mom. They delivered the flowers to the church and they were absolutely beautiful. On June 5th Camilot flowers delivered a beautiful flower arrangement to my home. The delivery person had tried to deliver the flowers earlier and had left a message at noon to call them when I got home. I called and received the flowers about 2 hours later. Unfortunately, it was the hottest day in Tucson and temps reached 107 that day. The time in the delivery truck took its toll and the next day the roses looked wilted and the leaves were turning brown. I called Camilot and told them about the wilting flowers`and the owner quickly responded that she would replace them. She asked if I could wait two days when a new shipment of roses would arrive. I said I could and two days later a beautiful new arrangement was delivered. That is what I call good customer service!! read more

I ordered the "Cotton Candy" arrangement for a friend of mine. Man let me tell you that arrangement was NOTHING like the picture was made out to look like. They put more carnations and other cheap flowers and one solo rose. The old lady that I spoke to said that she placed 3 roses in the vase although I have a video proof that there was only one rose in there. She even said on the phone, "Photoshop does wonders and I'm sorry it's deceiving online." I never once mentioned anything about how the image was deceiving. Needless to say, one payment for one rose and about 9 carnations was more than enough to convince me to never use this company again.
