Good reviews here and I figured it was worth having him take a look before spending thousands in repairs or making a claim on my insurance. Keith met me at my house at 5 pm (which was the earliest that I could get home from work) and spent 1.5 hours working out the dent. I am so amazed at how it turned out that I'm having him come back this Friday and remove two small dings and a large dent from my wife's minivan. The price was awesome and I highly recommend Keith! Vintage Auto Body exceeded my expectations from start to finish. From the very first phone call,…read moretheir team was responsive, professional, and took the time to clearly walk me through the entire process. Once they began the work, their thoroughness really stood out. After removing the damaged parts, they quickly identified additional issues underneath and proactively reached out to the insurance company to make sure everything was properly documented and covered--something I really appreciated. When I picked up my car, they took the time to go over all the repairs in detail and made sure I understood exactly what was done. The quality of the work speaks for itself--my car looks amazing, like nothing ever happened. They also provided a lifetime warranty, which gave me even more confidence in their work. Overall, a smooth, transparent, and professional experience. I highly recommend Vintage Auto Body and would absolutely return if needed. TESLA Y, Tesla approved vendor.

I recently discovered a couple of small dents on my passenger side door…read more Upon making this discovery, I took my car to my favorite body shop, five-star-average Los Osos Auto Body. Instead of giving me an estimate, the customer service representative there (Travis) referred me to DentPro. Travis told me that auto body repair would be overkill -- and overpriced -- because they would sand and paint the car, which was unnecessary, since the paint hadn't been broken. Travis told me that Jeff at DentPro was "an artist," with whom his shop worked frequently, and who could repair dents in which the paint wasn't broken much more affordably than an auto body shop could. I immediately called and texted Jeff at DentPro, and waited to hear back. A few minutes later, I coincidentally spotted Jeff's truck (which I recognized by the large "DentPro" label, on the side), driving alongside me, rolled down my window, and asked him at a red light whether he had time to take a look. He said he did, so we pulled into a parking lot. He gave me an estimate and an appointment, on the spot. A few days later, he performed the work, in the very same parking lot. He repaired two dents, in less than 40 minutes. He did such a good job, that I can't even tell where the dents were. He even repaired a third, tiny dent, which I hadn't even mentioned to him, for free. His rate was extremely reasonable, and he couldn't have been friendlier. I even got to play with his five-month-old puppy -- and get some shopping done -- while I waited. If and when my car gets dinged again, I'll be sure to call Jeff again.

In June I went to get an estimate to have my car painted, a dent in the rear bumper removed, and a…read morereplacement of one of the black strips on the roof because an end had come loose and I'd cut it off. Tom gave me the estimate, which I considered to be reasonable, and said the removal of the dent would cost an extra $100. Since it had been there for many years, I didn't care if it cost extra. The work was performed the final week of June. We had agreed that Tom would paint only the tops of the doors since the bottoms were in good shape, and he would put striping along the division. He painted the rest of the minivan because it was badly in need of it. When he called to tell me the car was ready, I went and picked it up. Not only had he done a great painting job, he had fabricated two strips for the roof because the original kind weren't made anymore; replaced the bumper because if the dent had been bashed out, there would have been cracks in the bumper; replaced one of the struts on the rear hatch door because the door would only stay up if the temperature was above a certain warmth; and replaced the ignition switch and made two new keys because it took multiple tries for the key to turn in the switch and he feared that I would be stuck one day. The subtle striping added class to my old vehicle. When I asked the total amount in order to make out my check, he stated the original estimate. I protested, saying that he'd made all those extra improvements that we hadn't discussed. He said, "It was an ESTIMATE!" Of course, I was more than pleased. He also gave me some touch-up paint for a few spots on the lower edges of two doors. During the entire process Tom was kind, friendly and straightforward. I didn't care what state of order or disorder the shop was in--I was impressed by the good work and that I didn't have to go out of town to have my car painted.
