(From February 2025)…read more When I made it here, it was right when it got dark and with the cold wind chill coming so I only walked around the pathway one time and that was it. While short and brisk, I imagined what the views would be like if it was warm and sunny outside. I pictured peoples reflections being seen in the lake and the bouncing of basketballs on the b-ball court while hearing the noises of kids in the playgrounds. Then I came to my senses and realized that the walk was over due to the path being shorter than I thought. Although short, it's a great way to escape and enjoy the sounds of nature. I hope to come back here when it's warmer and I'm back on assignment in College Station.

Came here for the first time with my son. We came to exercise this morning and it was beautiful…read more The park overall is really small. We zig zagged through every walkway and came up just under a full mile so if you're looking at running a mile or more and don't like to backtrack, then this isn't the park for you or you can run outside of the park. It f you do, the sidewalk doesn't connect all the way around so you'll end running on the grass. The way the trees and bushes are, it's a relaxing and pleasant stroll through the mini woods. There's a large pond where I think fishing is allowed since I didn't see a sign other than no swimming. This park comes with a nice little clean playground for the kiddies and a full size basketball court to include 2 additional mini full size courts. There was even a basketball so my son and I shot some hoops for a little bit. I did see some picnic tables with bbq grills and a pavilion with more tables/chairs. If you're looking for a hike or a trail, I wouldn't recommend only because it's too easy. The walkway is kind of narrow so please be careful of others if you're running. The parking lot is a good size, but I heard it's full during game day.

This is one of the nicer complexes we have visited in my family's many adventures at soccer fields…read morearound the country. The grounds are pleasant. There is plenty of parking. Traffic flow and management never seemed to be an issue, as roads and roundabouts are thoughtfully engineered. The soccer fields feature really nice grass and level, good quality playing surfaces. The turf fields were in good shape, and it was brilliant to have my son's games continue despite 2 inches of rain the night before. I can't speak for the restrooms or concessions, but the park itself works great for soccer, and we enjoyed our visit.

After not coming here because the car club has been allowed to vandalize this park for the last 4…read moreyears I'm sickened, sad, disgusted and angry! The mayor nor College station PD has done anything to stop them from tearing up a park that was dedicated to the men and woman who fought for this country! The parking lots are covered in tire tracks and the trash everywhere is gross! Sad to see NOONE gives a crap! I used to feel safe in this park but when the car club is tearing it up they will try and run you over while your crossing on a crosswalk on purpose, they pee out in the open so people can see, they toss their trash in the grass and in the parking lots including glass and just speed through and tear up the entire park and they harass the elderly that use that park to exercise! Again this was a park dedicated to veterans and to see it spit all over is sad. College station should do better
