Honest! So what do…read moreyou do when your kid puts diesel fuel into your truck and jacks it up big time and the dealer estimated thousands for the repair? Fix it yourself! It's now after Thanksgiving and too cold to work outside. I already cleaned the tank, changed the fuel pump, put in new injectors and spark plugs and it still won't go. Integrity just opened up across the street and I approached them about taking a look at it. With some cleanup of my handiwork along with another set of plugs and an oil change they got it running again. It's still sputtering on the highway as the O2 sensors are shot, but it beats walking. There was some minor damage to the front end air dam- bumper, only a close examination in broad daylight revealed this and I didn't notice until much later so I didn't make an issue of it. Whether there's a tiny crack and space, or the front end is seriously damaged, Audi repair costs the same, an arm and a bloody leg. So, I wouldn't have felt right trying to get them to compensate for what might not have been preventable damage, these cars do sit very low to the ground (low profile).
