Nestled amidst the rolling prairie land and small glacier scrape lakes of North Dakota is Camel's Hump Lake. The small lake is right next to the highway, and offers birdwatching, non-motorized boating, primitive camping, and fishing.

The shoreline wrapped in cattails, redwing blackbirds, wading birds and waterfowl make this a good spot to have a quick picnic along the side of the highway.
