Costal Clouds Chilled Apple Pear was recommended a brand I never heard of.. I decided to try it and asked again if it was menthol I was told it was not. Well, I got home and found out it was. I went a second time a week later.. This time I was helped by a woman who was filling in from another store in Cherry Hill. She explained that anything chilled is menthol.. She also explained the Smoke Cartridges when using salt liquids work best with the Mesh Pods. She was professional, knowledgeable and knew everything about all of the items /products I was interested in! Yesterday I called and asked for the Nova 2 smoke mesh pods. I was told they would be in stock today. . I called today and a extremely rude gentleman told me that they don't have the PODS or the Liquid.. I asked him how much the Caramel Salt e-liquid was. He was rude and said " I can't give prices over the phone" . He must be new or just too lazy to check the price as everyone else has given me the prices over the phone from this location in the past. . I wouldn't have to ask for the price if they didn't change every single time I've been there. After today's experience I won't be going back! I think the No name salt liquids this store sells are way too high. Most Gas stations who carry the same brand-liquids charge 6.99-9.99. My vapor store.Com sells top of the line salt E-liquids, like Connoli, The Beard, Pods, Nova 2, & 3 starter kits etc.. a lot cheaper. This Puff and Pipe location isn't consistent, stock is almost always out, workers don't seem to know much , the employee turn over rate is extremely high, it takes forever to get someone to answer a simple question or check you out, prices are ridiculous for base liquids nobody's ever heard of. Do not shop here. Everything is sold as-is. I bought a defective product from them and they would…read morenot replace it. Here's the long version. I bought a vape at Tobacco Outlet. It worked fine when I bought it, but it stopped working after a few days. Won't charge, nothing lights up, it's just a brick. I wasn't too worried. Every vape shop I've ever dealt with has allowed me to exchange defective items. So I go back to Tobacco Outlet expecting an easy exchange, but nope. Even after the guy working there confirmed that the device was indeed nonfunctional, he refused to offer an exchange. I was told that I could purchase a replacement at a 25% discount (+tax). Obviously, I found this unacceptable. I spent quite a while trying to explain to this guy how this was not a good business practice, and that his competitors will all happily exchange a defective item. I even called a few while I was in the store to confirm (Most have a 30 day policy, one was 14 days) After some debate, I finally agreed to purchase a replacement, but not at the originally quoted price. We negotiated for a while and I got him to sell me the device for $2 less than his cost, no tax. He actually had the nerve to complain that he was coming out of his pocket. Duh, dude. If you have to come out of your pocket to do right by your customer, then that's what you do. I also tried to explain to him that he shouldn't be coming out of his pocket at all, because he can ask his vendors to credit him for any defective product they sell him. How is he a retailer and he doesn't know that? Tobacco Outlet is a poorly-run business that doesn't treat it's customers with respect. Do not shop there.

As we approached the building, I was smoking a cigarette. An employee came outside and informed me that smoking was not permitted near the building. I immediately apologized and told him I would move away. A few moments later, the same employee came back outside and aggressively told me not to put the cigarette out on the building. Again, I complied. When my partner went inside, he apologized for the misunderstanding and explained that I hadn't been there before and wasn't aware of the policy. Instead of de-escalating the situation, the employee continued to be confrontational and rude. By the time I entered, I could see the interaction had become unnecessarily hostile. I then apologized myself and explained that we had just received news that my partner's mother had passed away. The employee's response was, "I don't fucking care who the fuck he lost." I've worked in customer-facing environments and understand that employees have rules to enforce. What I do not understand is the complete lack of basic human decency and compassion. We were respectful, apologized multiple times, and complied with the request immediately. There was absolutely no reason for the hostility, and there is certainly no excuse for speaking to a grieving customer that way. I've never felt more unwelcome in a business. Management should know that this interaction reflected very poorly on the dispensary and turned what could have been a simple misunderstanding into an experience we won't forget.

When I arrived, the cashier acknowledged that they had the product -- but for reasons never clearly explained, he refused to sell it to me. I was a paying customer, ready to purchase, and yet I was met with vague excuses and unhelpful attitude. What I don't understand is why a business would withhold merchandise from someone who called in advance, made the effort to come in person, and was ready to buy. It felt like a complete waste of time, gas, and energy. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values basic customer service or transparency.
