Wow just wow. First of all it seems I Disturbed the guy from his phone when I walked into the…read morestore. Very simple request I just needed one coil for a very common vape and was going to buy an oil. He proceeds to tell me rudely, that he can't break up the five pack of coils, which is really unheard of I've been into a thousand vape shops and they've all done single coils. So joke only and friendly I say oh that's strange other vape shops do it. His response: "Well that's their problem" Still friendly and joking I said I would think that would be their benefit you know, more options for the customer? And now he just starts mumbling and sassing back like basically if I don't like it I can leave so I decided to. The guy was a complete jerk off and I will never ever ever come back to this place. When I finally made it to my stand by vapor shop later that day they were all laughing about it. If you ever see a storefront full of hookahs then I would suggest to keep walking... This place really took me back to my freshman year in college when I smoked a lot of clove ciggies, wore long skirts and was totally into the Grateful Dead. In short, it was a little jaunt down memory lane. If you are into the partaking of natural substances, then this is a great place to visit for glassware. Oh wait, those are for tobacco smokers only. So, shall I say that if you are a tobacco smoker who prefers to smoke yours out of a glass pipe instead of a regular old cigarette, then this is the place for you. A Google search brought me to this place only three short blocks from me in Center City and I couldn't be happier. The store is small on space, but huge in selection, with plenty of choices for any smoker to indulge in. The price for my cigars is a great value at just $9 a pack. So far, so good, right? Honestly though, the very thing that inspired me to review this place is not the great location, selection, or prices. In all of the times I've been in this store, the service has always been exceptional. From what I know, there are three guys who work at Smokin' Stogies, all very different from one another, but all equally friendly and helpful. I almost always look forward to going there, just to enjoy the pleasant conversations I have with any of the three of them. I'm always greeted warmly, and I always feel valued when I go in there. The person on the phone assured me it was available, so I made the trip expecting a smooth transaction. When I arrived, the cashier acknowledged that they had the product -- but for reasons never clearly explained, he refused to sell it to me. I was a paying customer, ready to purchase, and yet I was met with vague excuses and unhelpful attitude. What I don't understand is why a business would withhold merchandise from someone who called in advance, made the effort to come in person, and was ready to buy. It felt like a complete waste of time, gas, and energy. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values basic customer service or transparency.
