I am an occasional smoker of Djarum Black cigars, and until I discovered Smokin' Stogies a few…read moremonths ago, I had to go back to NY every once in awhile to purchase them. A Google search brought me to this place only three short blocks from me in Center City and I couldn't be happier. The store is small on space, but huge in selection, with plenty of choices for any smoker to indulge in. The price for my cigars is a great value at just $9 a pack. So far, so good, right? Honestly though, the very thing that inspired me to review this place is not the great location, selection, or prices. In all of the times I've been in this store, the service has always been exceptional. From what I know, there are three guys who work at Smokin' Stogies, all very different from one another, but all equally friendly and helpful. I almost always look forward to going there, just to enjoy the pleasant conversations I have with any of the three of them. I'm always greeted warmly, and I always feel valued when I go in there. If only every store had such awesome service, this world would be a much better place! I don't know your names, but as you always say upon my exit, 'Appreciate you!"

So let me get this right : Medical: gets the newest dated buds & Recreational: gets the old, out dated and possibly molded (moldy) buds/weed. Nice!!? The vapes have been the same, lack luster at best. It's pretty much bodega placebo illegal garbage and not what you're paying these expensive prices for. Not one of the many vapes I've purchased have been made to the standard and quality they should be at. SIDE NOTE: THE STAFF NEVER A PROBLEM always on point doing their jobs as tenders. At no point at any time where they an issue. They always went above and beyond. Someone at the top is slipping.

The person on the phone assured me it was available, so I made the trip expecting a smooth transaction. When I arrived, the cashier acknowledged that they had the product -- but for reasons never clearly explained, he refused to sell it to me. I was a paying customer, ready to purchase, and yet I was met with vague excuses and unhelpful attitude. What I don't understand is why a business would withhold merchandise from someone who called in advance, made the effort to come in person, and was ready to buy. It felt like a complete waste of time, gas, and energy. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values basic customer service or transparency.

But one thing I didn't like about the store is that there wasn't many samples you can try before you buy the liquid and the price of this place is close to ridiculous. Many of the liquids and lower end items such as plastic tanks and low end drip tips are at least 5-10 bucks more then they should be. Experienced vapers should be fine going in there but new vapers should watch for the prices. You can get way better deals from online store or even other local stores.
