I wanted to surprise my wife with a new vehicle for her birthday. Car Nation had the exact model /…read moretrim that she had been looking for. I called and talked to AJ who was very friendly and helpful. After seeing that Car Nation had several positive online reviews, I decided to drive 2.5 hours to check it out. The sales experience with AJ was excellent. He was friendly, informative, and not pushy. During the test drive, I noticed one of the rear power windows didn't work. AJ had a technician inspect it and assured me it just needed a new switch. He promised to ship the replacement part to me and assured me they would "make it right" if that didn't solve the issue. I received the new switch, but after installing, the problem persisted. I reported this to AJ, but communication faltered, and subsequent attempts to resolve the issue failed. After several weeks of not hearing back I called Car Nation and spoke to a different employee who informed me that AJ no longer worked there. After explaining the situation he said there was nothing they could do, citing warranty expiration. I clarified that I wasn't seeking warranty coverage but rather expected resolution for a known issue at the time of purchase, as initially promised. However, he reiterated that there were no further options available. I took the risk of purchasing the vehicle before the issue was resolved and paid the price! It cost me $580 to have the window motor replaced at my local dealership. Lesson learned: I won't buy another vehicle from Car Nation simply because they didn't keep their word. :-\

We politely declined as we had a better offer elsewhere maybe 15 min later they called us with a better offer so we turned around and went back. 3hrs later after closing they told us even though it had nothing to do with our credit they couldn't honor said offer and we back to the original offer plus more money. In our opinion they were just fishing for more money and we never ever got an answer on veteran or first responder discounts.
