We signed a contract with them on May 17th for the total renovation of our kitchen, baths and bar…read morearea, giving them a 50% deposit on a total exceeding $65K. It was a horror show from the beginning. It began with us approving, on April 11, a special countertop that was no longer being made but found two slabs at a Ft. Lauderdale distributor. They were required to place the order and put a deposit in order to hold them, which they agreed to do. On June 29th we were informed that the countertop was not available and discontinued. This was to be the centerpiece of our renovation. they obviously did not place the order as they would have had to put a deposit down and they did not want to do that. We were forced to research this product and through the help of the manufacturer was able to locate inventory at other distribution sites. We should have known then. The same issue took place with the custom cabinets. They were monitoring our progress and did not order the cabinets until June 29th because doing so required a deposit on their part. The owner/President of CG took all the measurements herself. When it was time to begin the installation (8/22) it was quickly determined by the installers, sub-contractors she hired, that the cabinets were either the wrong size and would require them to make many adjustments and in some cases were unable to adjust. At some point they walked off the job and we were forced to get someone in who would complete the installation. I could continue for several more paragraphs but suffice it to say, do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY FROM CABINET GALLERY OF STUART, FLORIDA AND MEAGAN ROBINSON.
