Calzedonia is okay: a bit pricey, and a bit cramped, but the customer service is usually pretty good. Most of the ladies who have assisted me at Clazedonia have been pretty nice and surprisingly patient - I imagine it's a pain in the ass if someone wants to try on more than one size of a pair of leggings or something, since that kind of garment is difficult to repackage, and since they are also mindful of how many garments they give you to try on at a time (to prevent shoplifting, I suppose).
However, my beef with Calzedonia, aside from its pricey-ness and cramped-ness, is that when I tried on some leggings a while back and went to purchase them, the lady picked up the wrong pair (they had some out to try on, I suppose so that they wouldn't have to repackage every pair tried on). It's partly my fault for not paying closer attention, but the new pair of leggings was like €10 more expensive! AND I couldn't return them - only exchange, and even then, only exchange for certain items in the store. Of course, I thought it was odd that they were so expensive (I would not even try on €25 leggings, after all), but I had already paid by the time I realized it (my mistake). It wasn't until I got home and tried on the garment that I realized the other mistake - the chick's - and read the receipt (re: their exchange policy for this garment).
Oh brother! The worst part is that the new leggings looked worse on me than the original/cheaper pair, so I had to go through the process all over again: returning to the store, hassle with exchanging them, but only for certain items, etc. Yes, this was an isolated incident and partly my fault, but on other visits it's been equally chaotic, and I maintain that the place is just too overpriced. While I like the pieces that I have from there now, I won't be going back. read more
