Liked Dr Steele but unfortunately I was given the incorrect information about them being in network…read morewith my insurance and when I attempted to deal with it, their office manager was rude and unreceptive. I asked to speak with the Dr about it and her exact words were "well that's not going to happen. " In my last conversation with her she flat out lied and accused me of threatening her and the Dr. This has been turned over to the Dept of Professional standards and Better Business Bureau.

I've been sitting with how to write this review for quite some time. The physicians at the clinic…read moreare wonderful human beings who are wholeheartedly invested in helping their patients. The clinic is well run. However, after almost a year of chasing a hip/thigh pain and heel pain with ultrasound shot treatments and PT that I had to gently push for, I went to Missoula Bone and Joint to discover that the malady that had stopped me from hiking for nearly a year and created the need for a cane as well as 20 unwanted extra pounds was textbook bursitis. It took three injections to get it backed off because it had gone on so long and I've been able to get back to hiking. The heel issue was resolved with astym PT and exercises I do at home. Now I'm preparing for knee surgery, which I was very much discouraged to consider by my doc at this clinic. However, x-rays do not lie, a knee that won't bend is not fibbing either. Just as surgeons have a hammer that is shaped like a scalpel and therefore creates quite a confirmation bias, I think the cutting edge ultrasound treatments have become blinders for the practitioners at this clinic. If you go, and there are plenty of reasons to do that, remember that if you are not getting better, there are great folks to go to for second opinions. I so wish I had left sooner, because the consequences of my hope that they could help me left me less conditioned and facing other downstream issues from a lack of mobility. I don't need a comment from the owners, I sent an email several months ago. I wish them well, and I cannot in good conscience recommend their services without a paragraph of caveats first. My wish is that they take a good hard look at what confirmation bias does in a medical practice. As my daughter observed, my experience cost me a year of health promoting activities and outdoor joy.

Gold Leaf is THE gold standard in physical therapy. I went there after an L5-S1 fusion, still…read moreexperiencing the same pain in my hips and low back that I had pre-surgery. I was feeling defeated and not expecting much in the way of relief. Fast forward to just a few months and I am almost completely pain free, my range of motion has improved considerably, and I am working up to doing some hikes when the weather warms up a bit. Sessions with Jason Jamieson are like spending an hour with your best friend. He is so professional and made me feel comfortable in every way. Allissa is so intuituve and knows exactly where to go and what to do to bring relief. Adam is very intelligent and a very good storyteller. I was sad when my sessions ran out because I actually looked forward to seeing this incredible group of humans twice a week. I had to drive there from Boulder and never once complained about it. I knew when I was finished with a session I would leave feeling incredible. The staff are helpful and personable and fun, and truly, everyone there made me feel like family. I can't thank them enough for giving me my life back after many years of debilitating pain. I highly recommend Gold Leaf if you want the best care in the most caring environment!

I dreaded the process but was pleasantly surprised by the pleasant atmosphere and upbeat nature of the therapy. Knowing you have 12-14 week of P.T. can be depressing but the entire staff keeps you going and is very helpful with any questions you may have. They listen (even to my whining). I noticed they treat a wide variety of patients - from infants to seniors; from sports injuries to people recovering from a stroke. I have already recommended them.
