She comes off very ditzy and just horrible bedside manner. No compassion at all. If you have a complicated health history don't even bother seeing her. She's a joke. I have since found another practice in the county that is much better and is actually equipped to handle the complexity of my health issues. I'm on disability and I should have never agreed to see her and should've requested an MD instead. Lesson learned. Do not go to her if you value your health, go elsewhere! I am seeing Parul Jani MD in Prince Frederick and she is vey thorough and wonderful bedside manner.

I didn't want to goto the ER/ED unless it got worse because it cost so much money to goto the their, I can got the Dr for $25 get a CT scan for $65 and about $20 for blood work. The hospital would cost me about $1250+, you get a bill from the hospital for blood work, the room, facility charges and miscellaneous items. Then a bill from radiology and another bill from the ER/ED Dr, so that like 3-4 different bills to do the same thing. Now back to the Dr visit, I arrived at 11:35 checked in for my 12:00 appt. paid then waited in the waiting area until 12:20 Nurse called me we were walking to the room and she said the Dr. is backed up.... She was extremely friendly did her stuff and then say its going to be a while before he gets to you.. It was like 12:45 when Dr, Berg came in, now they want you to be there 20 min early but its ok to make you wait before they get to youth and if your 6 min late may as well stay home they wont see you and they will charge you. Dr Berg asked me what was wrong and I explained, he then asks me some questions. Do you need a rectal exam today? No I came in for my abdomen pain. Does it burn a little when you pee, sometime not a lot? Oh then we need to do a STD test, NO we don't I don't have a STD doc. Then a bunch of other questions about me hurting, he says well let me write up some paperwork for you. He's looking on the computer and asked me what do you want me to do, you can just go over to the hospital. I didn't want that I said because it cost to much money to goto the ED/ER, oh ya I agree he said let do some bloodwork and you can go get a CT scan. He asked if I have had contrast before yes I said the one they shoot in you while doing the scan. He got pissed because he was talking about the one you drink and now he has to write the script over, I said just leave it.. Then I asked if Dr. Lowenthal retired, he says I don't know he's not my dr. Im just trying to have a conversation.. Im going to steer clear of him everyone should, but all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

The envelope had my address…read morehand written on it and postage from a Pitney Bowes machine, (likely in house, from a mail room). The envelope was completely unsealed. No tape, the adhesive untouched. Inside was a Xerox of my health insurance card, taped and composed as a card. My entire health insurance was vulnerable and made available for someone to copy, write down and use for themselves or sell on the Black web. I am outraged that this business could be so entirely careless with my critical personal information. I wanted to believe that my prior bad experience was a one off and just a bad day. This error speaks to a level and consistent carelessness that makes me feel entirely at risk.

The lady who assisted me at the registration desk certainly had the people skills necessary for the job. She was very pleasant and very helpful throughout my visit. I was sitting for about a half hour when she left her desk to come over to me to explain why the EMGs were behind schedule. I sat a while longer before walking up to her window and before I could open my mouth she smiled at me and said they were now cleaning the EMG room, and I was next. She then thanked me for my patience. This is how valuable those acts of kindness are. My letter today could have very easily been a long bitch session because I had to drive all the way from Waldorf, I got there twenty minutes early but wasn't seen by the doctor until more than an hour after my appointment but I was so impressed with the personal attention I was given by Diane G the wait was no big deal. Thank you Diane and thank you Dr. Thomas for your mini electrocution.

Dr. Monica Mehta has been, without a doubt, an absolute blessing to my son and our family. I truly…read moredon't think any review can fully explain the level of compassion, dedication, and genuine care we have received from her. My son became critically ill, and what initially began as one illness quickly spiraled into complication after complication, including several life-threatening diagnoses. During one of the most terrifying times of our lives, Dr. Mehta went above and beyond anything I ever would have expected from his pediatrician. Even while he was being treated at an outside hospital, she made every effort to stay involved. She followed his daily updates, communicated with us regularly, spoke with his medical teams, and made sure everyone was on the same page. At every point, it was clear that my son wasn't simply another patient to her--his health and recovery genuinely mattered to her. And her care didn't end when the immediate emergency was over. Even now, throughout what has been a long recovery, she continues to check in on him, follow his progress, offer reassurance and guidance, and make sure we are moving in the right direction. Knowing that we have a pediatrician who knows his history, understands everything he has been through, and is willing to remain so involved in his care has given me an incredible amount of comfort. I understand that not every family will ever experience the level of fear and uncertainty that comes with having a critically ill child--and I sincerely hope they never do. But as a mother going through one of the most terrifying experiences imaginable, having a doctor like Dr. Mehta in our corner meant more than I can put into words. She supported us, educated us, advocated for my son, and was there whenever we needed her. Five stars simply don't feel like enough. If I could give Dr. Mehta a 10-star review, I absolutely would. I will forever be grateful for the role she has played, and continues to play, in my son's care and recovery

Run. He doesn't…read morelisten. Doesn't run appropriate bloodwork for yearly physicals, even when prescribing medications where blood should be monitored. He doesn't follow up or consistently track test results that require monitoring, you know..Like do his job. He will make you feel a fool, should you mention a pain, example: During my last physical he asked if I had any issue to discuss. I mentioned some pain I was having in my left forearm. He pretty much rolled his eyes and said, "squeeze my finger", then says, "you have fibromyalgia, and there's nothing that can be done about that". He also said my issues are from stress due to the loss of my son in 2010 and that he has another patient that lost 2-3 kids and that gentleman is getting up everyday and handling it. "Dr" gallatin knows nothing of my life and he should just stick to job and run the bloodwork. I do not have fibromyalgia and, there are things that can be done, if I did. Though I do not have fibromyalgia, I do have many issues that would and SHOULD have been addressed via bloodwork and a thorough physical by the primary physician. Instead, it took me 4 months, specialists and a new primary to get relief. He will also file revisions 6 months later to the insurance company to say during the physical he had to speak to me about my fibromyalgia. In doing so, he got more money for the joke of a physical and...would like a copay for such. That said, in recent months, the practice seems to be putting additional fees on anything, to include using the portal that they push their patients to use for "convenience". Run.
