I can't say enough about this church. Pastor Robert, his worship team and ALL the volunteers are amazing. They make you feel so welcomed. I started coming here 4 years ago and now I come twice a week. It's a very inviting church who welcomes everyone. Calvary has helped me in so many ways, spiritually and emotionally, and I am forever grateful for this church.

My husband and I first started at Elements as a dating couple simply trying to figure out who God is. Especially Over the last year we have grown with this amazing body of people as we have embraced Gods perfect love for us and our purpose for loving God and loving others. Because of how God is using the people at Elements we have grown in faith, community, and love! I never thought about writing a church review until my husband Dallis and I started to prepare for our move out of town and we started looking for churches. It's so hard to decide on where to go especially based on a website or review- it's hard to know how to select a church in general- do you pick the best preaching, music, outreach etc. Here's what we discovered about our walk with Christ and our walk in Elements--WE are called to be the church. Elements wants their people to get involved and they create an environment that makes it easy to be apart of Gods work through the church- you can join serve teams, prayer teams, small groups, children's ministry, or even get involved in your own creative way. This church isn't just about meeting on Sunday it is about creating disciples of Jesus Christ that serve with their lives. Additionally we are called to be involved and to do God's work using His principles (honesty, integrity, etc). I can say with complete certainty that the leadership of Elements is walking with Christ and acting according to Biblical principles when it comes to finances, decision making, preaching, outreach, worship, EVERYTHING. It is so awesome to see God propel a church when from its very foundation people are transparent and walking personally with God. So all in all Elements is a non judgmental, come as you are, loving, welcoming, honest family that wants to love you AND wants you to see how you are so dearly loved by our Mighty Heavenly Father.

I want to begin by saying the teaching is solid, the worship is uplifting, and there are genuinely…read moregood people here. That said, my personal experience as a newcomer was disappointing--and concerning. After a service, during a time of fellowship at a restaurant, a wisecrack was made by a man I had never met and who had no idea who I was. It was directed at me for speaking with a married woman who knew I was new and was simply being friendly and welcoming. I found it offensive and inappropriate--especially as a first-time visitor trying to connect. When I brought the wisecrack to leadership's attention, I felt dismissed and that the situation was minimized. That response, in itself, was offensive. Still, I chose to move forward, believing things would improve. Instead, I began to notice a shift. My interactions changed--there was distance, less responsiveness, and I felt as though I was purposely being avoided. I brought that to leadership's attention as well. When I raised this again to leadership via email, there was no response. In essence, my concerns were avoided rather than addressed. I never went back after that. These things cannot go unnoticed. We are called to let our light shine, especially in moments like this--and that didn't happen here. First impressions matter. For someone new, they often determine whether a person feels welcomed or quietly pushed away. For context, I'm a small business owner and naturally approach people with openness, respect, and professionalism. I came in with a genuine desire to connect and be part of the community. In fact, when I first visited, I heard about an upcoming marriage conference and offered to sponsor a couple in need so they could attend, even though I'm single. I was looking for ways to contribute and support others from the start. Unfortunately, I eventually felt misjudged rather than welcomed, and I made the decision to step away. My two-star rating reflects that experience. I do encourage others to visit and form their own opinion--I sincerely hope mine is not the norm. But I also hope this is taken seriously, because how new people are treated matters more than most realize.

That Jesus took our sins on Himself, so we could be set free from judgement and have the righteousness of God Himself. That He loves us so much that He would die a terrible death on that cross, be buried for 3 days, and then rose from the grave to sit at the right hand of God the Father. If we believe that truth, we can CHOOSE to have Him as our Lord and savior for all eternity. Or not. It's a choice. He created us with the ability to choose, otherwise it wouldn't be true love. And THAT is the Gospel. The Good News! I need to, and want to, study every word of the Bible; His word, His truth, His way, because He IS the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father but by Him. He is love, and the most important thing he wants from us is to be a reflection of who He is. We are to have a "ONE- on-ONE" relationship with our Lord and Savior. He wants us to study to "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope (and joy) that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." God is the one who brings people to Him; we have the responsibility to share so Heaven can be SUPER FULL! And the best part is, what makes it easy, is that it all makes 100% common sense! Just sayin'...... The church, itself, is one of the nicest I've seen. Beautiful, warm and cozy, even though it's so huge! The people are wonderful, friendly and happy! The three pastors are also wonderful from the inside out. I just need more "meat" in the teaching. The worship is superior! First time EVER everyone was spot on key, and they played in my key range. I enjoyed singing along with full enthusiasm and loved the selection and words to the songs. Wonderful! Blessings!

The site is less than 15 minutes south of downtown via a couple of interstates. Once you exit it is probably only a mile or so. The mission complex is located on a tribal reservation. You turn off the paved road to a large field of dirt and gravel in front of the mission. The center part of this is given over to semi-shaded stalls for vendors - food like fry bread, etc. Parking is along the sides. When we visited, the facade was partly covered with construction scaffolding, but this was wrapped with tarps that reflected the building beneath it. So you could still get a good idea of how it would look uncovered. Inside, there is the main church on the left (as you face it). This is actively used, so be quiet / respectful. Passing through there (or entering separately on the right) there are several smaller connected rooms that have displays about the history of the building and the local area. In back is a courtyard with a fountain. I'm not sure the public has access to this, but you can view it from a shaded arcade. If you like historic buildings or old missions in particular, this is an easy stop within the Tucson area. And the fry bread we got as we left the parking lot was good too!

The front part of the building is under construction currently but you can still view inside. If you arrive early before they open doors, go around the right side, there is a gift shop that opens early as well. There are also bathrooms on the left side.
