In the stone massage, they literally only massage you with the rocks. No hands. So it wasn't really as relaxing as we had hoped. I didn't want to get on accutane because I'd heard a million horror stories of people losing their hair, getting such bad dryness their skin flakes off, or their face turns red permanently. At this point in my life though, It was my last shot for clear skin. A couple days before I went to the dermatologist to get on the medication, I saw one of my friends who had like myself, been through it all with acne. Her skin looked flawless and I told her WTF. She told me to go to Skintherapy and I booked a consultation the same day. It has been almost a year since I decided to go to Jil at Skintherapy and I have never regretted the decision once. I used to cry myself to sleep at night because my acne was so bad. Now, I leave my house without makeup and feel a hundred times more confident and beautiful. I haven't had an actual, big, red, "Hi! I'm right here!", real-deal pimple in months, which is completely baffling to me considering I used to have an army of little red friends living on my face constantly. I got a quick pedicure, so I think I was only sitting there for 30-40 minutes. But I cannot handle those seats / benches or whatever they are.
