We came across this place and decided to give it a try. We were greeted by two people at the door and invited inside. There are multiple floors that you would not expect from the look of outside. We sat on the second floor by the fireplace. There was a bar where we sat. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered some drinks and food. There was music playing but it wasn't so loud you could not hear the people you were with. The service, food, and atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend this spot to others.

It was the second pub I visited on my visit to London, and again, I can't wait to go back. First, the prices: in America, two drinks would have cost at least $20; here, two drinks were only £11. I would've spent the whole night there if I could, but when you're traveling and have places to be early the next day, it's hard. Second, the service and ambiance were great. They serve the drinks very quickly, and of course, they know how to pour a pint of Guinness.

It was fine but nothing special…read more The price of £8 for a Guinness and £21 for a fish and chips was a bit high, but the Guinness was quite good. Don't think I'd do the fish and chips again. But the ambiance and service was great. Really nice patio if it's a nice day out, the upstairs is quiet and more private. I can see why they're busy, but also tons of other places to duck in for a bite or drinks

My Beyond Burger was definitely on point, fresh and tasted great. Other members in my party loved the Steak & Ale pie, while my Mum thought her Mac & Cheese was a bit oily. Overall, it's pub food. You're going to get a good meal here, but don't expect gourmet food. The ambience is casual and comfortable, no need to dress up here. The staff was ok... not friendly, but not rude either. Lastly, you won't have a typical server here, so make sure you order your food and drinks at the bar, then find your seat, otherwise, you'll be sitting in disappointment as no one will come to your table to take your order. If you need drink refills, you'll have to go back to the bar for those too. Enjoy! Recommended!
