I had absolutely no idea our unit wasn't purchased from his business, but on the "marketplace". I don't know what that is. I never once went to his home and picked up the unit. I signed a contract, we had a date for the install, he came on the date - bringing the unit with him, and installed it. We shut it down for the winter and when we started it back up the following spring, it would only blow out warm air. Jim did come down to our home in June of that year with a temporary fix. He had to order a part , said it would be in quickly, and would be back to fix it. We never heard back so I messaged him several times. I was told he was working on a huge job and couldn't get to it just then. I waited a while and messaged him again. I was then told his family had suffered the devastating effects from the hurricane last year and he was helping them. I still have the messages I replied to him with stating my concern for them and to take care of his family. This spring rolls along and I messaged and called him with no reply. It wasn't until I placed this negative review on yelp that he finally came and fixed it. At no cost. Of course it's at no cost. He told us last year it was covered under warranty. From the very start, Gary Beller listened closely to our objectives and delivered on the full scope of the project with exceptional professionalism. Gary's collaborative approach set Beller Logging apart. One aspect we truly appreciated was how thoughtfully Gary managed relationships with our woodlot neighbors. Living about 10 miles from the property, we were grateful that he recruited and compensated a nearby neighbor to keep an eye on the logging equipment. We found that this fostered goodwill in the community. In fact, an adjacent landowner was so impressed with Gary's work that they hired Beller Logging to perform the same style of harvest on their property. Gary accessed that job using the log landing on our land and, in return, fairly compensated us for that use -- a true win-win-win for everyone involved. Although he offered us the option to install a trail camera to track the number of truckloads leaving the property, we never felt the need. Gary's team used corduroy techniques--placing tree tops in wet areas to stabilize roads--and even offered dozer work to help improve an existing woods road. We hired them for this additional task and were thrilled with the results. They pulled soil from nearby areas to cover the corduroy and smooth the trail, significantly improving long-term access.
