We picked Pahchie…read morebecause in looking at her work, each photo made us feel something, not just another posed could-be-anybody shot. From the very beginning, her professionalism and warmth set the tone for an incredible experience. She's an exceptional listener who truly took the time to understand our vision, and her communication throughout the entire process was clear, timely, and reassuring. She met with us multiple times to be sure we were aligned and she even met with our vendors to ensure a seamless day! Our engagement shoot with her was not only beautifully captured, but also helped us feel completely at ease in front of the camera--something we were both nervous about. On our wedding day, Pahchie brought a calm, confident presence that made everything flow so naturally. The sneak peek photos she delivered took our breath away--elegant, emotional, and full of life. If this is just the preview, we absolutely can't wait to see the full gallery! We would recommend Pahchie without hesitation to anyone looking for a talented, attentive, and deeply thoughtful photographer.

Leah has become so much more than a florist for us, we consider her a friend. We met Leah 2 years…read morebefore the wedding by chance while shopping for some flowers in preparation for Mother's Day. Leah has a shop in Monticello, a neighboring town to us, and the storefront is beautiful. We loved how personable it felt when we walked in, and she knew exactly what we wanted even though we were embarrassingly vague. Her prices were reasonable and we just loved her personality right off the bat. As she built the bouquet right in front of us, we got to chatting about the area and found out we had a few things in common. We started coming to her for all our flower needs, and by the second visit she knew us by face. Eventually when I needed a florist for the wedding, I asked her if she offered the service or if I could pay her enough money to help me out. She was more than happy to participate. She offered suggestions and guided me through planning centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres. We met a couple times, and she personally delivered everything the day of, which was the cherry on top of a great day. I received so many compliments on the flowers that one of the guests actually took my bouquet at the reception to keep, which is not what I was planning. Leah does tremendous work, and kicks butt as small business owner. We owe her a lot for the work she did, and both Luke and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

As an out of state bride, I knew that I needed someone to help me with my wedding. My venue,…read moreCamrose Hill Farm, had Wonderful Day Weddings listed as one of their preferred vendors. From the first time that I spoke with Marissa, I knew that she was going to be the perfect person to work with! She truly went above and beyond throughout my entire wedding planning process! I hired Marissa as the "day of coordinator" but she really did so much more than that! Marissa was available to me any time that I had any questions. She met with my family and I in Minnesota a few months before the wedding when we happened to be in town and had dinner with us. She had at least three to four conference calls with us throughout the wedding planning process. She even went to the venue with my mom a month before the wedding when my mom happened to be in town. And any time that anything came up, Marissa was always there to help me or to answer any questions that I had. On the day of my wedding, Marissa was at the venue early in the morning setting up my fairytale wedding. She worked tirelessly all day - in the heat and humidity. She kept the wedding running smoothly. She stayed for the entire wedding and even picked up afterwards. As an out of town bride, I was somewhat needy. But, Marissa was always patient and there for me! I really appreciate everything that Marissa did for me! Hire Marissa! With Marissa, your day will be perfect!

Overall, I would rate the services provided by this company as "Good, not great." We had no…read moresignificant problems with Marissa: her price is right (we hired her for day-of services for $500, which is considerably less than many other local providers) and, on the day, things largely went smoothly. That said, I found Marissa's personality a challenge. At our rehearsal, for example, she was very dismissive of our officiant's plans/suggestions and seemed to respond to mildly challenging situations (e.g. corralling people to walk down the aisle) by getting visibly annoyed rather than calmly directive. There seemed to be a tension underlying a lot of her tasks and, though things got done, I didn't feel great about the atmosphere and, in some cases, felt like I needed to apologize on her behalf (e.g. to the officiant) for her demeanor. With that said, the wedding day went smoothly and my (limited) interactions with her that day were fine. So, perhaps this is down to personality differences. In which case, if you are considering this company's services, I would merely recommend that you take the time to meet with Marissa and evaluate whether she is a good fit for you.

Barb was so generous answering my many, many, many questions. Thank you Barb!! From the perfect places to stay, what to see, which restaurants to go to and what was great on the menu to the car rental, they were amazing!!! Manuel called the car rental to make sure all was well and again on the day of our arrival, just to make sure all was arranged and ready, which was such a comfort. Renting a car can be stressful, but not with his help! Thank you Manuel!!! We went first to Tulum, then Akumal and ended in Valladolid. We didn't take any tours, we did it all on our own thanks to all of the information and help they provided! I speak very minimal Spanish, and my husband hardly any, and we had no issues. We can't wait to go back. We had a trip of a lifetime! The people are lovely, the food incredible, the beaches glorious and the ruins and jungle were magical. The only problem was, we only stayed for 8 days! It should have been at least 10 but better yet 12! Thank you so much you two!!! Lots of love from Colorado! Sincerely, Ann Brumby
