Starting my new cargo van business was overwhelming at first, but Call Patty Insurance made it a completely smooth process. From day one, Antonella was absolutely incredible. She truly went above and beyond -- walking me through every detail, educating me about commercial insurance, explaining liability coverage, and literally holding my hand through each step. She took her time to make sure I fully understood everything, answered every question I had with patience, and stayed with me from beginning to end. She really cares, and you feel it the entire time. What stood out even more is her customer service. Anytime I called -- and I called a lot -- she would always answer with a positive attitude, even when I was being difficult or overwhelmed. And on the rare occasions she couldn't answer right away, she would always follow up with a text or call back quickly. You just don't find that kind of commitment and personal service very often anymore. Once my policy was in place, Patty herself stepped in like a complete powerhouse. With her experience and knowledge in the industry, she handled my state filings, got my CA permit done, activated my MC number, completed my state and federal filings, and fully set up my business both intrastate and interstate. They know exactly what they're doing and you can tell this team is built for long-term success. I've seen some reviews online where people call this place a scam, and I can honestly say from my own experience, that's simply not true. What many people don't understand is that the initial quote they give you is based on preliminary information. Once it goes to underwriting, if anything pops up in your driving record, DOT profile, or business info, that quote can change depending on what the underwriters find. That's just how insurance works everywhere -- they don't control that part. Could they be a little more upfront about that? Maybe. But once you understand how the process works, it makes complete sense. At the end of the day, Antonella and Patty made sure I was fully compliant, fully insured, and ready to legally run my business. They didn't just sell me a policy -- they built the entire foundation of my operation. I highly recommend Call Patty Insurance to anyone serious about starting a cargo van or trucking business -- you need a team like this behind you if you want to get it done right. read more

Definitely not a good company to deal with. They don't abide by insurance laws and do not help customers out in any way shape or form.

Great customer service very helpful and very kind and friendly make everything very easy

They lure you in with below-market prices, but once you've made a down payment, they hit you with a much higher price. They keep you uninformed to make it easier to exploit you. Their communication is ambiguous, and they continuously lie. If you find their prices to be lower, carefully check the conditions, as they often provide false information to insurance companies. This can give them a reason to deny your claim in the event of an accident since the initial pricing was based on incorrect information. Do yourself a favor and cross them off your list. Call Patty Insurance has high endorsement fees and unethical practices. Avoid them if you're a trucker seeking insurance

If you are reading this comment .. please DO NOT GO with this company.. They have poor customer service, their agents are the worst i have ever came across.. i am glad that i did not have claims during policy otherwise they are the worst company i had to literally beg for my certificate of insurance and Loss Run Report . They canceled my insurance without any prior notice.. You won't believe how they are responding me over the emails . I am sharing one of the most polite email from them.. If you still want to buy their insurance just try to call their customer service agent .. and then try their sales dept. Customer service dept will let you wait for hours and no response back and sales dept will pick your call within a minute and try to be the nicest person of the world.. I wish i could have read reviews before buying the insurance from such scam company i have already complaint to Dept of Insurance lets see what will happen.. read more

Classic bait and switch! Stay away from this company! I called Patty Insurance and spoke with Yohanna for a quote for commercial insurance for my cargo van. The quote I received was $2650 down and 10 payments of $598. I agreed to the numbers and gave her my credit card info. She told me that she could "expedite the process" and have everything completed in a week and that she would reach out to me then. Over the next couple of days I reached out to her via text message with some questions I had and she was very responsive. A day later my credit card gets charged for the down payment and that when things change. The week goes by and no word from Yohanna. I give her about 3 extra days and still no contact, so I than decided to send her a couple text messages but still no response. I was finally able to reach her after repeated calls and she told me that she was waiting on the carrier to get back to her with more information. After a couple more days of waiting she calls me back and gives me a whole new quote! It was almost double! I told her I did want to move forward and to refund my money asap. She told me that it would take 10-15 days. 15 days go by and no refund! I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges and my money was refunded. There are some good brokers and and bad but Patty Moreno is the worst, she was unprofessional and arrogant towards my boyfriend. She made an attempt to rip off my boyfriend. They don't tell you they charge for things until after you complete them. For instance no other brokers charge for "additional insured" but this company will rip you off. They will not tell you when you request for it that they charge for additional insured. They will add then provide you certificate and then try to collect. Stay away from this broker Patty Moreno. My bf and I would never recommend to anyone. read more

Stay a way from this broker. They take my money almost 4K and after two months they told me I was never insured. After two months they cancel policy (You was never insured ?!?!?!!) and as a reason tell me I have not A class DL. The tru is they never pay to insurance company down payment. They just returned to me $1500. They are scammers just for took your money. Customer service newer answer or you have to wait 2-3 weeks for Certifica of insurance. STAY A WAY Take your money to Vegas will be better for you. If so I have all evidence, emails, text, voice recording. The owner PATTY is most arrogant person wich I meet in my life. This company is a fraud and a scam. DO NOT USE them by ALL means. Karina Gavela was super friendly when I first got my commercial auto and workers compensation policy. When I needed to add additional policies, she calls back right away. However, when I needed any type of servicing, such as a Certificate of Insurance to provide my company, she will say, I will get it to you ASAP. Days and weeks gone by and nothing and I keep following up and low and behold, my policy was cancelled because it was not accepted by underwriting. However, she took and charged my credit card payment and I've been trying to get a refund from them for since January, 2020 and have still not received it. Since May, I have cancelled ALL my policies with them however, they still charged me for 3 months of insurance when the effective cancellation date was Feb 2020. I have filed a complaint with the California Department of insurance. I Also called to cancel my insurance on one of my commercial trucks and never received a call back or an email. Poor customer service! Stay away and find someone else! These people should be shamed. read more

Beware of this place. At first every thing is good, as soon as they receive payment the service changes. I call and get a voicemail from different people. Seems like people working at this place are always on another call or on break but never return the call. Do your self a favor and don't hire Call Pattys for your insurance needs. read more

Worse service ever. They say they will provide good service and they delivery shitty service. Never return calls.

Beware of using this insurance service. I've been trying to get a refund from them for since January, 2020 and have still not received it. I gave them close to $1,800 for a down payment on an insurance that did not go through. I have filed a complaint with the California Department of insurance. I Also called to cancel my insurance on one of my commercial trucks and never received a call back or an email. Poor customer service! read more

The worst... spoke to a rep named, Karina Gavela to discuss my insurance needs, she asked I email her my declaration pages in order to quote me on both home and car insurance. Friendly representatives who treat you like family. They go above and beyond to ensure they keep your business. I was paying $300 for car insurance and they found me a plan, with equal coverage, for $140. When I had issues with the billing, the owner called me personally and spoke to the insurance company to resolve the issue. Definitely recommend this establishment. read more

Great service! Great agents. The really make a great work and take care of my needs! I am very pleased with their service

I have been debating leaving a review for this company because I knew it would be negative if I did. I have had a very poor experience there. We just opened a trucking company. We were in the process of hiring a driver to drive one of the trucks. We forwarded the drivers license over to the company along with a driving record. We were told by Azuay and Rafael that this individual was good to hire. So we hired him and told them to add him on the insurance. They said he was good go and on the insurance as of Friday. So Friday came and we sent him on his first run. Three days later we received a call from Azuay saying they could not add him to our insurance. We were shocked as he was in a different state. We were told by Rafael to "be careful driving until he could be added." I immediately called our driver and told him to get to the nearest truck stop and park and dont drive anymore until we could get him covered. We were informed it would take at least until Tuesday to get new insurance. Fast forward to Tuesday. Still no insurance. My business partner had to fly out during the COVID outbreak to drive the truck back as he was covered on the insurance. The employee is scared of flying so we paid for a car and hotel for him. All the while Rafael told us this was our fault because we should have known he could not be covered because he only had 2 years of experience and our specific policy required 5 years. While yes there is some truth to that. However when we sent over all information and ask the insurance company to find out if he is cover-able I believe they have a responsibility to do their due diligence. No responsibility was taken by the insurance. They refused to help with any expenses to get the driver home, and charged us another commission for the new policy which Didn't take effect until Friday. Unfortunately in the trucking world it looks bad on your record to change insurances within a year so we are literally stuck with them for 1 year to avoid a rate hike. read more
